I would like a 64 bit AMD processor in it, a Turion ML28/32 preferably. Looking to be under 650 english pounds. I have checked www.ebuyer.co.uk but I was wondering if I could get one cheaper somewhere. Also if someone finds one, could you also supply a link for a RAM upgrade so I can upgrade to 1gb and maybe also a bigger hard drive too?

Centrino is faster than a 64 bit AMD Turion? :O Fair enough, if so, could you find the best laptop for around 650 quid and also some RAM that could upgrade it?

kazaa = for girlfriend cos shes a noOb
flashfxp is for me to connect to my servers
putty is for ssh access to rz and to connect to my shells to flood ppl also
vpn is my vpn so i r never caught
nmap is for me to find any bugs :p


har my laptop = good :P


Also , dell do suck, ide avoid them.... centrino r not the best either tbh, ppl say its just as good as 3ghz, its not true.

It depends on what type of application your talking about.

Also, P-M's produce something like 5x less heat and comsume almost half as much power, which is a huge advantage fora laptop.

Clock for clock the Dothan is the fastest CPU, even beating out the AMD FX series.

To give an idea of how fast it is, the P-M 780 2.26GHz is faster in games than the P4 670 3.8GHz CPU. Now, that's fast.

When it comes to rendering the P-M 780 is +- 10% with the P4 670 in programs like Maya and 3D Studio Max.

For things like Photoshop the P-M 780 performs at about P4 650 levels, and when overclocked on air produces the top single core tier of performance.

The P-M is so impressive that Intel has decided to use the architecture on it's future desktop CPU's, cya netburst!

Yeah Ry I got one :)

Ordered a AMD Sempron 2800+, 80gb HDD, 512mb RAM, dvd rw, 15" tft, some other stuff, 501.61 or something from www.ebuyer.co.uk, sexy laptops on there. And MentaL informed me he got his from Comet but I checked on the website and they didn't have any :S www.ebay.co.uk is alright to look for laptops too, and www.shopacer.co.uk :)
