So i remember a few years back there was a map, it had a massive tree in the centre of it, ive looked everywhere but i cant seem to come across it, does anyone know where i could find it or has a link to download ?

Also im looking for the n0 map that has Ginko Tree Valley added back on, does anyone know where i could find this? and maybe the mini map to go with it ?

Massive tree... wasn't that the map some server(s) used as a starting out map? It also had a waterfall in North West corner and was surrounded by water on two or three sides, North side was probably cliffs.

BTW if you use map editor, you can easily make minimaps for any maps you can open in it.

Get the map editor from the Resources link above here. Put the editor files into your mir2 client (where mir.exe is) and you can open maps from any location on your computer to search for those you want, you just need to download them, probably mirfiles has old maps? But there it seems you need to download the whole client to get to its maps.

However, there is an older version of the map editor on GitHub to which Jev added a feature enabling you to open a list view of map folder as a tree and it makes it easier to go through maps to see what's on them.

My map editor version from the resources link is otherwise much more capable in every way if you want to edit maps. But it is also not too bad for going through the map folder to check what maps they are. You just click shortcut 'O' and in the 'open map dialog' select the map and hit Enter.

Use '-' on the keypad to zoom the map view out a bit, so you can see more of the map. The editor then remembers the zoom setting for next maps.
But don't zoom out too much because if you then open large province maps, it takes a bit before the editor will display them (it can also bog down on it and you will need to restart it).

You forgot about this one. Ginko village added back would be the map with the burned out patches and Ginko village, right?

Is this the one? Or maybe it should be the old style with buildings?

If the old style, you could get my map editor and cut your teeth with it, copying the village to replace these tents one.

You're right, I just took the map I fished out on my computer, it is from Wild Dragon server, and found another one with the original Ginko on it and copied the village over to that Wild Dragon server map.

Just flexed my mapping muscle on doing the job myself and as I see now from your 2017 post, it is a unique map. If nothing, it might encourage the OP to use the map editor and make the map to his own liking.
I still like the best the original look, either Wemade or Shanda tiles. You should put your maps on mirfiles if they are not there already.

Mind you, I started this job with my older version of the map editor because it was in that Wild Dragon folder along with the server's maps and Data folders that I kept from that server (I archive screenshots from servers I played and for some servers I also keep maps & libraries).
Halfway through the job, I had to switch to the latest editor version because I badly missed the fast map moving using numpad. Can't even imagine anymore what your job was like in some 2017 editor, whatever you used.

I only wish the editor had some better tile selection method than the one it currently has. It selects too much extraneous area if you grasp a bigger map area, like here the whole village, and then need to fix the 'damage'.

What i mean is there was the new style BW map that you could fish on but it had ginko-tree re added but was still the new map if you get what i mean?? i aint made a map in years and all this new stuff is quite complicated to get a hold of more to do in terms of mapping, adding monsters etc etc
