Lenovo bought out IBM.

Much better laptops than Samsung. We use both at work

Oooh didn't know that. I wondered what had happened to IBM.

Problem is I'm a bit of a label wh0re and it looks a bit sh1t lol (that sounds really pathetic i know)

Oh and 400 really is the max, I'd rather spend like 350ish or something if I could...I don't really need 500gb space and 3gb ram would suffice

p.s. what's the difference between 64 and 32 bit windows? :/

Not sure on all of the differences, but 64bit can handle much more RAM and overall IMO is better than 32bit.

Lenovo have never made good looking, fashionable laptop but they are very reliable.

Samsung make nice, fancy laptops but tbf... are ****.

We have 5-6 year old Lenovo's working fine (Just getting slow due to been old).

We have Samsungs coming back constantly that are about a year old.

That's why I like my Vaio...never had a problem with it, just a bit slow like you say, plus it still looks pretty nice considering the age. The keyboard is really nice to use as well. My mum's got a HP only about 2 years old max and it's a piece of crap in comparison, the mouse buttons barely work!

Only problem is I can't afford a new Sony right now.

Edit: is it true that 4gb ram for a laptop is pointless/too much?

Skyline are you sure you know what your going on about? Lenovo are the biggest peices of crap going we supply laptops at work and we have stopped stocking Lenovo for this reason, The touch pads on them are so un responsive, we have had so many faulty ones back for repair overall these machines are junk, This opinion seemed to be everyones view on these who has worked with them before, Check lenovo`s thinkpad design out, they are going back in time the touch pad has double buttons and they have the little nipple on the keyboard. Disgusting. * i dont know the difference between 32 and 64 but imo 64 is much better* that statement was funny :)
