Hi everyone,

We’re currently actively working on our new Druid class. The Druid features beast transformations and nature-themed abilities that need a lot of careful balancing and testing.

To keep things moving forward, we're looking for a few dedicated testers who are interested in playing a hands-on role in shaping the class as it develops, including new skill ideas and improvements to existing ones. This isn’t just about playtesting; we’re looking for players who are willing to explore all facets of the Druid, share their thoughts, and help us fine-tune the experience.

Why We Need Your Help:
  • The Druid class is designed to have multiple unique forms (Human, Werewolf and Werebear to start) each with distinct playstyles, different forms yield different results with most skills.
  • We’re working hard to ensure each form feels dynamic and well-balanced, with Werewolf focusing on fast-paced attacks and bleed effects, and Werebear on powerful strikes and defensive auras.
  • Your feedback will help us identify bugs, balance issues, and uncover what’s fun and what’s not, allowing us to polish the Druid’s mechanics for the community.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Players with an interest in class-based RPG mechanics, ideally with some experience in melee, tanking and/or spellcasting roles.
  • Individuals who are available to test during specified sessions and provide detailed feedback.
  • Players who can think critically about game balance and provide constructive comments on their experience.
  • Players willing to submit skill design ideas that fit in with the Druid's overall theme.
What You’ll Gain:
  • A chance to influence the final design of the Druid class.
  • Exclusive insight into new content before general release.
  • Our sincere thanks and recognition for your contribution.
If this sounds interesting to you, please let us know below or send a private message to express your interest. Your perspective could make all the difference!

Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to lend a hand.

A little progress update for those following:
We now have 16 fully implemented skills with a tonne more planned.
We've now split the skills into 2 tabs, Nature and Beast (though we expect this to be revised again as additional skills are added)

Druid now has 4 forms, Human, Werewolf, Werebear and Arachne, each form focuses on different playstyles and affects skills in very different ways.
Human Form (Lv1 - Default Form)
Access to nature magic skills, draws power from MC core stat.

1734692204488.png

Werewolf Form (Lv7)
Transforms the Druid into a Werewolf, converting Magic (MC) into Physical Damage (DC). Adds attack speed and grants additional benefits based on the transformation level. Access to werewolf versions of beast skills.

Werebear Form (Lv30)
Transforms the Druid into a Werebear, converting a portion of your Magic (MC) into Physical Damage (DC) and Physical Defence (AC). Adds defensive buffs and stuns enemies at higher levels. Access to werebear versions of beast skills.

Arachne Form (Lv53)
Transform into an Arachne, a venomous predator combining agility and poison. While in this form, you gain enhanced poison damage and the ability to slow enemies with venomous strikes. Access to arachne versions of beast skills.

Beast Skills
Bite of the Wild (Lv11)

A risky yet powerful buff skill where the Druid bites an ally to apply a strong buff, while sacrificing a significant amount of the Druid's own HP. The buff applied depends on the Druid's current beast form. This skill can only target allies and requires the Druid to be in Werewolf or Werebear form.

All Blood Skills - At the cost HP perform the following skills. (currently implemented for WW and WB forms, Arachne version in development)
Blood Strike (Lv21)
A powerful melee attack that applies Bleed in Werewolf form or Stun in Werebear form.

Blood Rise (Lv27)
A multi-target attack that applies Bleed in Werewolf form or Taunt and AC increase in Werebear form.

Blood Storm (Lv33)
An AoE attack that deals multiple hits in Werewolf form or stuns and creates a damage reduction aura in Werebear form.

Blood Surge (Lv39)
A high-risk, high-reward attack. In Werewolf form, it applies Bleed and grants Lifesteal. In Werebear form, it applies a stun and increases physical defence and health regeneration.

Blood Moon (Lv45)
A devastating attack with wide-area damage. In Werewolf form, it applies Bleed and increases attack speed. In Werebear form, it stuns enemies and grants a damage absorption shield.

Nature Skills - In Human form at the cost of MP perform the following skills.
Thorn Bind (Lv1)

Bind enemies in a small area inplace with thorns. Targets recieve extra damage when bound.

Cleanse the Earth (Lv15)
The Druid channels the purifying forces of nature to cleanse an area, removing any harmful ground effects such as poison clouds, firewalls, and tempests within the specified range.

Fruits of Yggdrasil (Lv19)
Spawns an object that party members can interact with to gain a random buff from a selection. Only party members can benefit.

Giant Growth (Lv40)
Temporarily empowers one of the Druid's summons, increasing its size, attack power, and defence, but increases the cooldown of summoning skills by 30%.

Summon Skills
Summon Natures Ally (Lv25)

Call upon the primal forces of nature to summon a powerful ally to aid you in battle. As the skill level increases, stronger allies are unlocked, ranging from small Vine Beasts to towering hybrids of tree and beast. This skill can only be cast in human form, and only one Nature Ally can be active at a time.

Summon Lesser Beasts (Lv48)
Harnessing the primal energies of nature, the Druid calls forth loyal beast allies to fight by their side. The form the Druid currently inhabits determines the type of beasts summoned, with more powerful creatures unlocked as the skill level increases.

Summon Spider Brood (Lv60)
The Druid channels their connection to arachnid life to summon a brood of spiders from the remains of a fallen enemy. The type and strength of the summoned spiders are determined by the power of the target. Ordinary enemies will summon a swarm of diminutive spiderlings, while sub-bosses, bosses, and behemoths yield progressively stronger arachnid creatures.

There are plenty of wip videos over at our discord if you'd like to see any of this in action, we also have a PTR server where you can try this class out youeself and add feedback and suggestions to the development.

thanks to those of you that have taken part in the development cycle so far. :)

So we are pretty much wrapping things up ready for a final playtest on our test server and following that we will be ready to patch in the druid class to our servers. I just wanted to thank all of those that joined in on the development journey and provided feedback and suggestions throughout the design and development phases. Below is a little preview of our current progress, I will get some videos uploaded to YouTube so I can share them here, but in the meantime, you can already see those skill video previews on our discord (https://discord.com/channels/707603153503387719/735130552642044024)

Players can interact with these fruits to receive a variety of stat-boosting buffs. The skill's effectiveness scales with its level, offering more potent bonuses and higher caps as it progresses.

Summon Natures Ally (Lv25)
Call upon the primal forces of nature to summon a powerful ally to aid you in battle. This skill can only be cast in human form, and only one Nature Ally can be active at a time.

Thought it was about time I shared some of the more recent Druid updates since I've been having fun with this one.
Tried out some new client-side development to implement some proper custom thematic skills, playing with custom animation frames and movement.
