Town fighting and guild fighting at Lords is a part of the game but I believe a legitimate one. Griefing, i.e. turning up at either of those on a noob with the sole intention of making other people go red / curse is a part of the game yes, but in my mind not a legitimate one and in my view one that could be described as exploiting the pvp system.

Wish there was a way to stop this, preferably without banning people as removing it would be better, but not totally against banning if that's the only way, Whatever guild they are in.

Make ALL Lords Spawn on a huge map.. one at a time obviously. And have an npc in town that teles you to the lord map when one is summoned.

Make it a war zone.. simples.

The old Football map maybe?

Like someone else said make the whole map a warzone when the lords spawns with the sz as the only safe place, adaephon ended up with 1k pk points last night due to being in the middle of a fight and people running into his ff on noobs just to give him pk points.

Fair enough some of what Woodie said sounded silly, but in reality it's only fair to keep griefing in game when the game has no level cap. Without a level cap the casuals(which there is more than you think) cannot keep up, and with level 50+ able to 1-2 hit lower levels it can make the game for the lower levels very bad.

You attempt to kill a lower end boss(WT), lets say you are level 41. You are enjoying yourself killing an easy boss to try and make money for some much needed item improvements, then along comes along a level 50 wizard casts 1 spell on you and your dead. This will put you right off playing, without being able to kill anything cause high levels take them all you end up not being able to kit up, end up leveling slower cause of the lack of items and realize there is no point.

The above imo is also griefing, but in a legitimate way. Making lower levels to grief is however wrong.

You could easily counter this many different ways,

1. Create a new toggle "@pvp", when turned on there is no level cap to what can kill you, this would be good for guild fights where everyone wants to help in the fights. When turned off it forces a -5/+5 level difference cap, someone 5 levels below/above the player toggling it cannot harm the player.

2. Add some form of new attack mode which just forces anyone below 40 to not be hittable, the game up until 40 doesn't have much PvP anyway.

The only problem with things like this is, there will be some way to exploit it.

Perhaps an attack mode that only deals damage to 40+ characters, repulse type spells would still work again pre 40 chars.
granted you would still get level 40 noobs 'greifing' but it would reduce the numbers and increase the effort to do it.
I can imagine this would atleast half the problem and sounds quite simple to implement as level check codes already exist.

A potentialy quick easy temporary 'fix' or deterrent at least.
