Gutted, lost my phone last night, and I have no insurance.

Now, I'm looking at buying a new one and came across this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330399493301&_trksid=p2759.l1259

Seems too cheap to be true.... Can anyone spot why its so cheap? Dont want to buyi t and find out theres a reason its so cheap. Could also be a scam, i pay £170 and recieve **** all... What's the chances of getting my money back?

Could nip down to tesco and buy a £10 phone for temp use and times like when your phone gets lost/damaged.

Buy an iphone! Managed to swap my n97 for an iphone with vodafone a few weeks ago.

Glad i did.

If you're on contract see if they can offer any sort of emergency insurance?

Don't buy the N97. My Dad had an upgrade not along ago, he asked for the N97 but was told by the guy at Vodafone to get the N97 mini. The N97 was basically a tester & too many bugs were found so they have discontinued it (hence why it's so cheap probably?), the N97 mini is the improved version.

Slightly off-topic, but thought I'd share a phone with everyone. Getting it sometime this coming week hopefully (Said 7-10 days a week ago friday).

Nokia N900.
http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/nokia-n900

Has 32GB of memory & a new system called Maemo (http://maemo.nokia.com/maemo-select/)

As said, I've had the N97 and although it has its problems (Like all phones... Even the "fantastic" iphone) I loved it.

The N900 is a tasty phone indeed, was looking at it the other week. Just bought a Samsung Jet for £175.

iPhone is over rated. If you can afford to spend 23 hours a day on your phone then why not get the iPhone. I mean, lets face it, who needs 120981381230 applications on a PHONE?

Pfft.

Good enough reason's I suppose xD.

I just don't see the the real fuss with the iPhone unless you are gonna actually use the apps all day.
