im just trying to get random bits and bobs working atm. i dont know how euromir lottery works so im not sure what the script has to be like.

from what i can gather, you have to buy a lottery ticket, double click the ticket to choose your numbers. the money you paid goes in to the jackpot for the prize. and the winning numbers are drawn on friday at 9 30 (changable).

is this correct? if it is. my lottery ticket does nothing when i click on it, so i think i may have the wrong numbers in my items db, cld someone give me the correct ones.

dont mix up 2 things hehe
there is the old system of buying a lotteryticket (can give db stats if needed ) which is quite ez to script (standard merchant npc...) and u have to doubleclick the ticket which will put up either a price or nothing on the other hand there is the new bigger lottery system which i have to admit we didnt bother to get running smoothly on olymp yet

tbh id like to have the system the same as euromir. does this not double click the lottery ticket then? how do i select my numbers?

with 'wellfare lottery system' included players pick the numbers via npc dialogue

i had it working on one set of the older files
not sure which tho .
but since the pick and mix translations its all screwed up
sorry to say but most of the translations are 1/2 arsed jobs
****ing up other scripts as it goes
also now the daily quests not work now cas items npc give ect are messed up cas none was translated with the item db

screeeeewed.

prolly gonna start my files again saving what i can along the way.And not ask for help from these fast silly bad translators :) ie db's npc's and merchants oh well time to go find my old dvd disks and start searching for older files to make a good set from .Might even start from scratch again.

any links to any newer files to start again with?

Ahh your are learning young Padwan, if you want a job done properly - do it yourself. You want some tips dont you, so your not going over the same ground again and again and again - sit back and make a brew :)

1. Export your Untouched Chinese database and export it into Excel format.
2. Get yourself a Wil Viewer
3. Go through the APPR of each mob and match it to Euromir3 Site
4. Do same for Items
5. Now export your now english Database again into excel
6. Copy the english column from one and insert into the chines one.
7. Now you have a full DB in Excel that you can cross refer for english to chinese.

Next Stage....

1.Anything In QUESTDIARY is 100% Items or Mobs - using above spreadsheets you can now match the RIGHT items/mobs to the txt files.
2. The Market_Def/Questdiary is Speech BUT anything Encased in Colour Statements may well be a mob or item.
3. By all means use Babel BUT re-word the sentence on the fly - pure BABEL (as per above for example) might as well be in Chinese...

Important
None of the files present on LOMCN are of any use to man nor beast, using GREP type util does indeed speed up thing but you will end of with %*&Sunnypot in drop file etc...

Now you asked (in your broken english which I had a hard time understanding) for a link for a Fresh set of files...to start again maybe..

Ok then - as you refuse to come on MSN !!!!

In Market_Def there is a file called 00Default.txt you will see a Line :

[@LottoSystem_ItemClick]

Now you head off to that file:

[@LottoSystemItemClick]

!Equal A9 "LotteryTicket"
#ACT
break

So thats where your going wrong - the item there has to match what you called it in your database, its Item no 1060 by the way...

Simple when you know how eh!!

cheers. i had a look at urs and iv realised the button im pressing isnt to enter numbers, its to see previous results.

acording to yours you have to double click the loto ticket to enter numbers.

what numbers have you got in your items db for lototicket?

Explain above - In STDItems - go along to IDX 1060 - the Item there is the Lotto Ticket you buy - then double click in your bag to select numbers and see if you won or not etc..

Or do you mean the ones where you click and you instant win or loose as per old mir? I dont think I got them...

no no. first of all my lotteryticket is idx 1069, 1060 is a spell book. but i suppose that doesnt matter?

i want to be able to double click the ticket so i can input the 3 numbers. but when i double click nothing happens. so i presumed that the lottery ticket has to have special type properties?

have u used the translations posted in that post by me? (not my ones the db's ect)
cas the lottery ticket is wrong on them and screws em up.

If you STAB at the files - do you really think there gonna magicaly work? When I translated the Lotto System - it had check item {chinese name here} - i search my spreadsheet and it was in fact called LotteryTicket. It translates from Chinese to that even. Now think about it this way - if you translate and match the items propely in the first place then there is no reason for most of the npcs to break - my Lotto worked first time i tried it as done most of my files - its not rocket science it just takes time and patience..
