Love Sam Virus ?

erm, my friend rang me the other day asking me about this, she had the "Blaster Worm" removed it and ran AVG, found a virus called the "Love Sam Virus" but i cant find ANYTHING on it anywere?

any ideas ?

Both are the same thing. I believe Synamtec have a remover tool.

Thanks got it now great help

just two more :P lol on my net server ive ended up with a "Worm / Spybot" and i cant get red of it AVG can find it but i cant seem to get rid of it

this is what AVG comes up with for that one :

Virus
Virus Identified Worm / SpyBot
is found in File :
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{BA8AF58F.load of jargon}\RP74\A0013593.exe

and my wonderful friend has this one in :

C:\windows\Temp DIA6374.exe

and is labelled as a W32 Malware,

Try the Trend HouseCall Scanner (http://housecall.trendmicro.com).

However if that is the only version of the virus on your system, just delete it. If you cant delete it, boot into safe mode and try again.

ok ill try that thanks, as for just deleting it i cant.... its in a directory that does not exist and if i search for the files it cant find it >.< but ill give it a scan cheers
