does anyone have any stats or forumulas for succesfull bene oils on weapons
how many does it take to get to luck +4 or +5 and is +7 the maximum ?

any advice or stories on using benes , luck and what +luck really means
the stats it gives etc would be welcome

i would like more info before spending money on benes

Bigger luck on weap = more chance to often hit max dmg.
7 luck is max. With tht high luck u hiting all time max dmg.
Take me 1 week to get twice +3 luck double blades. I dnt spend 1 gold for bene. All i used to get this luck was from boses. Used like 10 benes to get 3 luck and now i can say i used like 30 bene and nothing hapend...
No idea how it works but its verry fking random and have to be lucky to get more luck or verry rich to use 500 bene or somthing.

there was much discussion about luck and it was supposed to be much harder to get on this server. And seeing as its less than 3months old I don't suppose anyones worked out a formula yet. If they had they probably wouldn't tell you so they can make loads money selling high luck weaps. Don't see it happening in game or on market place so getting luck isn't happening much

I am lucking a fate sword put it like this it took 150 benes to get luck 5 from luck 3

I would say it's going to take me an easy 200 more to get luck7 if not more

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it each luck adds a 10% chance of hitting your max hit. With the maximum luck on a weapon being 7, you'd hit your max 70% of the time, not all of the time.

It may vary from server to server but the max luck you can attain is 10, thus hitting your max 100% of the time.

From personal experience I find gaining the even numbers of luck very difficult, could just be some mild form of superstition but I have found luck 2 harder than 3, and 4 seems almost impossible without 30+ benes.

The only thing that determs how easy a wepon is to luck is the difference from a wepons base dc to max dc.. The lower that number is, the easier it is

Dont forget the basic chance to hit max.
As you know you can hit max without any luck, so in theory you have +1 luck already.

Not sure if its just the paranoia,

But you should luck your weapon when your @bodyluck is at 5(or the hidden 'over 5' effect)
And the closer the min and max dc of a weapon, the easier it is to luck the weapon too
Dont use benes after you've just murdered or died as it lowers your body luck too

Not sure about that one.. If your dc is 1-10 then yes you have a 10% chance of hitting your max, but say your dc is 10-50, pretty sure you are just as likely to hit 50 as 49 or 10 or any other number in that range.

Tier 1 weapon e.g. Fateblades

luck 1 1/7
luck 2 1/7
luck 3 1/7
luck 4 1/25
luck 5 1/25
luck 6 1/25
luck 7 1/25

curse 1/15. As far as Im aware these are the stat's for a tier 1 weapon.

Different tiers are decided upon the weapons DC gap e.g. 12-16 is tier 1, I believe every 5 DC is a tier gap, so a dsword for example would be tier 3.

However these stats are irrelevant really, Banshee for one did it in under 100 benes (not sure if rumor or truth)
Although im pretty sure you just need to get lucky, I for one have not had such luck (using easily 800 and never getting luck 7, got luck 6 5times however)

Thanks for all your input guys and advice
I've got a WMS I've been lucking.
It took me about 25 to get to luck +3, I then lost my bottle and left it at that.
Yesterday I bought another 3 bene's and the second one took it to +4
Rather then risk being unlucky and dropping back I left it at that.

Interestingly I never ever ok or even fight, except on the rare occasion an idiot tried mugging me.
So my ok points are always at nil

just used 16 benes on my luck 1 ssw, 15 did nothing, 16th cursed it back down to 0.

There is no rule just rng
probs something like

Yeah this looks stupid but this is probably how it somewhat works
Where chance is affected by what tier the weapon is
And the chance to luck is relevant to the luck you already

I got my WarMageStaff to Luck+2 after 2 Benes, I then used another 3, first one did nothing and the other two cursed my weapon putting me back down to 0.
I then used a further 2, first one got to Luck+1 and then the second one cursed it again so I'm now back down to 0.

Never buying Benes again, such a waste of money so I've learnt my lesson! lol

if this is true then its far far too easy to get luck, luck 6/7 should be almost impossible , or luck should be capped at 5 if its going to be so easy to get luck 6/7 we were told it would be harder than ACEm2 to get luck here but seeing luck6/7 weps all over the place now...

No, its just RNG. I have used over 100 benes on a fate sword and only achieved luck5 max on it.

Wanted to add that I just used 35 benes trying for luck7 and ended up on luck3, lucking is fine.
