Have watched/hunted with toriblack, theend, and few other luck7 sins they hit the same everytime ( which is fine)

ive been using luck7 quite a lot lately and was jus wondering why it's not the same for a wizz,

eg: cast 10 fw's they all hit different (although it's always close to my
Max mc it's not the same

would be say, 110, 103, 87, 108, 98, 98, 100, 101

same with most spells even with luck7 it varies in damage on the same target

Only double slash (standard hit) works max everytime.

HeavenlySword and FlashDash dont work by lK7

But most wizz spells are affected by luck ( appart from ff) so say I cast 10 fd's I should hit the same everytime?

You probably have a greater range of mc than the sins dc, therefore exacerbating your damage output.

most likely because their defense have base and higher values

Nothing in mir should give max damage every hit. There should always always always be a random factor

I just thought seeing these luck7 sins hitting there max everytime and hyper viper don't see why it should be different for a wizz lol?

luck7 isn't easy to get so any1 who achieves this should be able to hit there max EVerytime

jus seems abit unfair haha

Prety sure my base - top end is smaller than hyper viper (not 100% sure) but he spams his max np

There's a range the spell falls within for Heavenly sword, flamesword etc.

I believe it's because some spells are calculated by (Base spell damage) + Spell multiplier*(Your MC/SC/DC).

The luck 7 makes it so the RHS of the equation hits max every time, but the base spell damage can still vary. That's a guess anyway :D

Some skills have formulas that change what the damage done is regardless of MC(or DC etc) for example damage = MC + (15-25), in other words the skills would do between 15 and 25 damage with no MC and max would still be variable depending on the rng. Other skills may have formulas that are more like damage = (base DC + (Max DC/2))*(X) where x can be a random number between 1.0 and 1.9

It is not like every skill in the game is just Damage = MC or Damage = DC.....therefore why would you expect to always hit the same number with max luck?? Sure some skills would pick the high MC or SC every time but there are other factors affecting damage. Like the second post said for sins you hit max every time with double slash but not with other skills.
