m2 server error - SQL 2005

wot have i done wrong?

im usin SQL 2005.... ive always used SQL2000, so ive no idea wot im doin with 2005... and tuma is not around.

can ne1 add me to msn and guide me thro it plz? ~.~

You sure you've installed the SQL server in? like restored the DB's and stuff on the hosting PC?

i dunno lol -.- like i said ive never used 2005 before

the passwords r set right in the setup+db docs... so i dunno....

the db r restored properly, as i can look at mobs etc

it just aint connectin 2 SQL i dont think

i found this using search http://www.lomcn.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=53713&highlight=DBNETLIB try that. dunno if it will work on the dedi though m8. might give you some idea's i shall still look but ive always used SQL2000

EDIT: Right on your dedi can you go into your Controll Panel?
if you can do this
>Controll panel > Administrative tool's> Data Sources (ODBC) > System DSN > Add > Scroll to SQL Server > name: for your db, Server: would be (Local) normally next > then With SQL Server Authentication then put ur SA / Pass in. > then should be a scroll down pick your DB then next > then next > then test
