magic help and level 33+ chat help

ok currently i am running with 2 databases for magic 1 database is for reading spell books outher database is to let spells work correctly now every time i edit the one that lets spells work right the server wount start hence i cant seem to transluate the database and have it work after has anyone got a clue or help for this a working database would be perfect thx guys



secound does any one know where to change level 33+green chat i cant find it anywhere mine is currently set to 100 and i would like to drop the level needed a bit thx again

i still havent gotten a fix for the magic database is there anyone who knows what the problem is or can send me a link to 1 that works its a pain to keep changing the database for everyone to learn there spells thanks again

you've got two databases for magic?

you have one magic tbl with all the magics in, then you have the items tbl which holds the books.

you translate magic tbl names to say FireBall

you translate items tbl names to FireBall and FireBall(*)

when you learn a book, you learn (*) which was converted from FireBall through the translation npc.

when translating, you have to make sure you keep the end name the same. i think untranslated the end is £"manual)

you can change the beginning of that £" to just ( through crueldragon3g.ini

search for the line

MagicSkill=

and change to

MagicSkill=(

then when u translate a book. it needs to be FireBall(manual), or FireBall(*) etc.

one of the database you can read the macic spells but can only cast 1 spell then have to log out to cast anouther spell (this one is transulated to english) the 2nd database you can use the spells correctly but you can not read manuals (this one just had ???'s for spell names)

you need to install the chinese language pack to change ??? to chinese. that might make it easier for u to translate.

we did transluate it but it wount work after only allows us to cast 1 spell at a time
