Ok i have the new euro mir exe working and i can scroll down on the magic window i need the full translated DBs though so i can test all the spells work i can translate them cos it brings the names back in ascaii >.< is there away around it or could some one fill in the names for me please

Just shows that it allows me to learn more magic than the other .exes since there are the right Spell boxes there but i cant seem to translate the other spells cos when i run it through babelfish it comes up in boxes

I already posted a list of all the magic translated for you - no matter which exe u use the new spells will only show on screen - no effect on mobs whatsoever really - been tested to death by a few people. The reason for this is simple enough, the code is just not in the server, only the spells listed on the 1.4 client box (non scrolling one) actually work and do some damage.

Now reference someone getting magci working, Aragom (KISS51 forum) took the mir2 source code (no idea which one) and somehow patched the relevelent bits into mir3 server thus getting "new" magic working - not neccessary mir3 magic though as the spells he put screenshots up did not seem to match anything i had seen in mir3.

Ok I Got Full Transalted Magic DB I Done Some New Spells Stuff Like Beckon And Interchange show me doing the skill but i see no effect on mobs with Beckon its suppose to draw the mob to me aint it? But I learnt some others and like u said they dont work but im seeing which ones do and dont so i kno what to put in my server

Dead easy to tell you which work - Put on the 1.4 client - the one were the skills box dont scroll - everything that is listed on that skills box works - any other spell will probably show a effect and little else - the very same problem as 2.9 server where you coudl see the newer skills on screen but the mobs never got hurt (no Damage).

The Only way to have the spells work fully - is to have the code actually in the server itself, at the moment it has no reference at all to the new magic which is why it does no damage. I suggest if your kinda skillfull with programming, grab the mir2 source code and work out how to add the relevent bits in vis hexing etc to the server - then at least you could say get full moon working (i dont know what spells work on mir2 1.5 emualtor thing).

By the way - were did you get the exe from? did nightwolf post this somewhere and i missed it?

LOL sorry i had to burst there bubble cos of there "we are not releasing it" type of thing - which did make me chuckle tbh. As i said before - they are not helping themselfs to be honest - once you go down the path of "im not sharing it" then equally they wont get stuff in return -lol

For example - I posted the new interface working but i did say after wards that it had bugs - so not to get peoples hopes up just yet.... same with the 3G client - posted link i found - yup i found it - i never got me C++ out and wrote it myself --lol

Anyhow - all those in the "ive got somethink, im posting a pretty picture but your not having it mob" - your gonna get left behind, its not a competetion you know on who get get the most on a server - i did mention didn't i that im not making a server for public, im HELPING sort and get stuff for others to make a good server.

Problem is Andeh - its a knock on effect - NW dont share this, i dont share that and so forth -- soon we all out for ourselfs -- oh well - fun though eh posting

i agree it is pretty sad when people refuse to share stuff, I mean there isnt any point at all, its just selfishness "cool I have this and no one else does" believe it or not I am not like that. anything I do that could be remotely usefull to anyone I will share. I have some spawns written for the qgo maps (provinces) if anyone wants those they are welcome to have them. except those who choose to be selfish..

its the usuall thing we all used to it ,so it dont matter.. time will tell and show that its only a exe which many others will realease soon. and then it will b useless cas no doubt there is always someone , somewhere that can programme better than someone else.so no worrys

i wasnt calling anyone selfish. I was saying it is selfish when people do this kind of stuff. dont matter anyway, once someone else releases a working euroexe, nightwolf wont get any credit because he never released his, so its his loss in the long run to refuse to release stuff.

Dont Matter Any Way As This exe Is Not The Euro Mir One Night Wolf Thought It Was But Its Another 3G one So if any one still wants it u can have it to see what it has might be useful
