The guild change was needed when the server was new and fresh, by waiting this long (and offering such a high buff), all it has done is divide an established community, it was too little too late and had wrecked some of the servers guilds in its late initiation.

True the server is still "fun", for me I would have rather not had the "Fortune Checker" added as it has totally demotivated my want to obtain items, to realise just how far away from something dropping I actually am, I no longer feel like trying to obtain these items as I'm simply not even close (Goru for ABF is around 16,000,000,000 exp.... doesn't that sound fun fun fun!!).

PvP and PvE are still a loooooooooogn way from where they need to be.... balance is always going to be an issue, some of the recent changes have improved this somewhat but I would still say we are a fair way off the four classes feeling balanced.

What new content.... first I'm hearing of it..... ????

Item parts and dragon abyss?

What's the problem with fortune checker? It would be worst without the guaranteed drop and the probability of drop be the same..

You can still get the items faster if you are lucky and you get too the other books which you can sell to buy yours. Same with items, maybe drop is low but you get not only your items but too others to sell.

It seems you don't know what mir is. And this server is 3 months old lol.

I don’t think people aren’t appreciating the system. It’s just a psychological thing, it’s why many games hide all that info and never let people find it at all. It’s a shock to people’s systems when they find after X amount of hours they are still 99% away.

That feeling will wear off eventually for most people.

But if you make it easier, all ppl will get it fast, and start crying for more content. And then will cry because it's hard. And it's always the same..

It's mir. 99% of ppl will never get the best gear. But you don't need the best gear to have fun and play/hunt most of zones.

I don’t disagree with you. The only suggestions I made were to tweaking areas that people out levelled or didn’t hunt as often. But the new pieces make just do that job anyway.

Drops are complex, because the original rng system is only fed by number of players hunting a given area. Small player bases require more frequent drops to get the same average number of items than say a high user count server would. It’s just a matter of basic maths. If you have 1000 people hunting compared to our 300 you’d get on average 3 times more items in the economy.

The guaranteed drop system goes a long way to plugging that gap and the item pieces will go even further as well. But it’s always got to be a work in progress. I looked through the Fortune Checker and there are quite a lot of items in the mid level space that have had little or no drops, perhaps a few here and there, this is because the areas they drop in were likely skipped over really quickly and no one hunts here for long periods of time. That means the items flowing into the economy and that got sold on down to the lower levels etc are fewer and steady progression becomes harder.

Imagine a new player coming in a couple of months time, it would mostly be high end gear in the market and not a lot of much in between to smooth that players journey. With item refines we suck a lot of items out of the economy quite quickly, they aren’t always replaced as easily.
