Right so I have noticed flamesplash now costs 6mp per cast on lvl3 skill.

Jamie could you go somewhat into details how flamesplash now works? have you tested it yourself? is fire damage going to be decent for it now?

Also what about summon puppet, fire+ kit was a joke with it! 30 lightning attack and a lightning stone did same damage with puppet as 30 fire attack and a fire stone!!!

If you have karma and a lotus spell charged, it will do both the karma and lotus, but only apply the karma damage, should not apply the lotus stack when using karma

Would it not have made more sense to do the hermit stay increases in reverse order and start higher and get lower per tier? I’m not even at the hermit levels yet and can see it’s only going to get harder now compared to what older players to server have had.
You’ve just created a bigger gap between new players and old players. Fairly new to server but the initial grind is getting boring, fast.

They can still stack MR to tank mobsters without getting hitted and easily switch to DC for PVP without getting punished... Sorry I forgot they lose 100k and 1m experience. Nothing I said was incorrect.

You're missing out the biggest pain with warriors going MR or DC....pet stats :)

We are RELIANT on pet stats and that costs £££

Unbelievably so, I’ve spent more than £250 on my different companion stats (yes we MUST make multiple pets!) and still a long way off having resistances to tackle more than two or three different dungeons.

Are resistances still capped at 5x like officials? Surely easily achievable with an added armour and shoes helmet a tao etc

Can we have a one time accessory reset for everyone? Most people build their accessories wholly base on element.

Nice to see the list finally finalised. Changes seem pretty nice, and fair.

I'm still disappointed that empowered spell toggle hasn't been implemented. It should be a fairly straight forward addition for you Jamie and would be a great strategic perk for tao's. It has been asked for numerous times throughout beta into live up until now. Care to comment on this?

Tested karma level 3 last night on mobs and players. I'm not sure what I should have been expecting as I'm new to the sin world but on hymoon mobs, it was hitting about 390. On a 52 war, it was doing from 400 to 700. My blooms 550+. This is with DC 160. On Wiz with shield up, it was around 320.

Sorry

Gonna have to ask a question and i hope it wont get lost in all the madness there is on here ...

Mobs/Bosses were balanced based on the old Hermit system ? If so ... i have nothing to complain about the hermit update, but maybe consider re-balacing some of the mobs where people lvl ? Either reduce their MR or Element defences a bit ? As we are killing at a way slower rate then before, i understand this change was needed, but whenever i go and try to kill something i kinda feel like i don't even wanna play anymore when i see how hard it is to kill compared to what it was before. I don't wanna be that guy but people got to 70+ with the old hermit system and now the rest of the server is stuck at a really lower rate compared to them . Let's not say about the people that just started and are in the early 40-50 ...

Probably the best idea I've seen so far, monsters for the lower levels through to the 60's need adjusting slightly so that players don't feel too disadvantaged compared to those who are 65+++

Tempest in lair pre-patch
- Min -> 100-110
- Average -> 120-150
- Highest -> 222 (no crits, i had 1% anyway)

Tempest after patch
- Min -> 57-65
- Average -> 80-100
- Highest -> 120-140 (from time to time I get to hit 200-250 with critical damage)

These numbers are after I spent a fortune improving my MC gear, as of now I'm running around with 110MC (120+ if fully buffed and 30-36att depending on my rings but the damage doesn't fluctuate that much) but I've pretty much lost half my damage.

Note that I understand that this change to the elemental stacking was very much needed and I aprove of it because high lvl wizards were hitting like a truck but that's it, it was only the high lvl wizards and while they're the ones who lost more damage they still hit hard and can level up like they used to (just a little bit slower) but what about lower lvl ones? 50-55 wizards are hitting like a wet noodle in leveling zones that are open for lvl 45+... i can't even imagine how much low lvl wizards are hitting for but the one thing i'm certain of is that this change was not properly tested at all levels in every zone.

As for pvp... even a retarded warrior could strut around you, take a **** on his keyboard and spit you because the highest number i got was a 110 crit while I averaged 50-70 with tempest.

Srsly, this needs some addresing... maybe increase the MC scaling up to a certain point then add a diminishing return where MC no longer increases damage as much as it did before said point

Have you done a comparison between full MC and full element kit? With 110 MC how much do you have left in wind? Whats your kit like and what have you got refined on your items?

I've always hated the book/skill system in Mir, you can't balance around skills people might not have and could spend 10 levels above the skill getting.

Either everything that drops from WD or above from a book perspective is 100/100 (in Euro, all books WD or above dropped as full manuals) or just put them in the shops.

You're goddamn right, this is specially true when those books are almost impossible to get and only 2 people have it after 1 month.

Pre-patch -> 30mc (no renounce) +56/60 att wind
After-patch -> 30mc (no renounce) +36/40 att wind -> With this gear I was hitting 30-40s in Snow
After-patch (improved gear) -> 110MC +30/36 att wind

As of now I could sacrifice 14MC for 6att wind but I don't gain any damage at all, in fact, I lose damage because I'd lose 4% crit chance so I wouldn't bother stacking elemental damage past 30+

I'm by no means the authority on Wizards but would you not be better stacking Wind+ on all of your gear and random rolling your hermits? Statistically you stand more chance of hitting a higher damage even with the more randomised stats than you do going full MC.

With gear you should be getting up to Wind+ 50 correct? All be it probably a little lower. So lets say 45, on average what do you get if you do random element rolls in +Wind? MC doesn't give enough benefit per stat to outweigh +element. For instance lets say you get +30 MC from hermit rolls you only need +15 in 1 element to equal the damage right and that's prior to taking into account any Ele Dis.

All wizards seem to have gotten used to the ridiculous damage from element stacking it seems.

I've never known wizzes stack elements like this server. I'm glad for the change it should have come 6 weeks ago.
