Make autopot carry on its job when client lags out

It is frustrating to lag out and die/relog back on low hp, mostly due to someone DDOSing the server. The weird thing is that as you relog back on, the feedback at the top left indicates you ran out of HP pots, when you infact still do have some/all of them. Can this be changed to prevent unwanted and unjustified item/stone losses?

Cheers

If your client lags, then how would you use a pot?

When your client lags no commands are going to the server so afaik this would not be possible.

There should be a mir file on your C drive, can you post this as this sounds more like your client lagged out and not an attack on the server

I understand. Could the autopot mechanism be migrated to the server side of things then?

It didnt happen right now, but it has in the past. Even if it happens in the case of a "standard" lagout, I feel that dieing over server side or client side connection issues is still not a case of a fully justified death.

It would be a lot of work for the coding team and could cause a few bugs but it is a good idea.

I will add it to our good ideas file and put it in our file cabinet

Hey actually on autopot, is there some way to seperate mounted and unmounted autopot? Or make autopot percentage base. Right now when I get hit on my horse I start chugging pots like I am an alcoholic in a bar.
