Anything sold via game shop should not be tradable, the fact that these are tradable was not intentional.

Sam

I'm not sure that they are. Its the same as the knowledge torches.

The ones form GS aren't trade able, the drops from mobs are. I *think* this is it - but you had best double check.

They 100% are tradeable and postable via mail.

There are two types of hard torch, - the drop from sub/boss ones and the buy from gameshop ones.
The gameshop ones come with a "no sell, no drop, etc etc" description however you can trade and send them via mail.

This does not give a real cash to gold conversion rate though because the cost of buying them on the game shop to then sell ingame would be shooting yourself in the foot as the gameshop is hugely overpriced.

While this thread has attention, I wouldn't mind seeing XP pots in the drop files, very very very rare from standard mobs only. no subs or bosses.
I would also suggest making them non tradeable/sellable/droppable ect ect once picked up from the ground after the kill its character bound.

Think was agreed on acem2 board and start of chrons that no one wanted players selling gameshop items like forever and that gamepot mir.
Suggest
make hard torches much rarer. point was to stop people having the same kit for months and months. Then for events u could have stop dura loss for an hour medals no drop nodeal as rewards.
up the amounts of gamegold in chests.

AT start most people didn't want exp pots in game shop at all or hard torches. Curse Immunity pots were an controversial addition. Don't want it to be like USA or forever. So no don't make it so u can trade them. Don't add exp pots to drops and make hard torches drop less often.

I'd be happy with paying more for a larger duration Hard Torch. Dura5 seems... a bit naff.

Reckon these could be added to the GameShop sam? Maybe dura20 ones for whatever price you see fair. Just saves bagspace/having to constantly re-buy them. Obviously non-tradable etc like the current d5 ones.

Hardtorches are not worth 1k gamegold I just wish theyd put more worthwhile things on gg shop id rather buy a hard torch out of tm... the gamegold ones should be higher dura!

Nah I think hardtorches should have low durability, If someone wants them that badly they can hunt ET for a week and stock up,
Hunting in your best items should cost them dura.

The alternative could be a 20/20 torch that halves the dura loss from damage (must be possible as red poisoning increases it) <- i think this idea has some legs.

I wouldnt mind a gameshop dura orb either 1 per item and only adds +1 dura.
That would not prolong the item for too long a period but would offer a little extra useage and an additional purchase option.

Why?
No one seemed to want them in the game at all anyway
People who play will level anyway no matter the rate whether you have exp pots in game or not and if exp pots are in drops or not.
Once you got yr char to 40+ you either sell it or carry on playin til you get to mir burn out.
Exp pots make no difference at all except to annoy those that cant spend spend spend to out level other people cos they cannot play 24/7 and dont have the staff/sweatshop/family to bike with.
Those who have the cash to spare will out level most by any means possible. You can see example of this ingame lately

Doesn't this line of your post contradict your whole argument?
having the very odd drop of an exp pot is a nice little boost for anyone that gets one and allows the people that don't spend spend spend to use have the benefits.

peterpan If you found an exp pot whilst leveling would you be happy or sad?

lol Razarus I like yr posts usually but this isnt up to standard.
Of course he would be pleased but that isnt the point.
We were promised no exp pots. Then they were put in now your asking for them in drops as well. Why?
Agree peters post seems contradictory in a way but he's right.
Exp pots are unnecessary. People will level anyway as he says. Those who bike and spend and sweatshop their chars get way ahead of the rest of us as it is without the added advantage of 24/7 exp pots. The rest of us having the odd exp boost doesnt mean a thing compared to 24/7 use.
