i used the search option but didn't find anything on how to make invisible mobs =/ i wanted to add music to mir using KaNe's "invis mob dying" method but nowhere in the topic did it say how to get an invisible mob in the first place

all i can think of that it's got something to do with the Appr of the mob...is there a default Appr number for an invisible mob? or is it something to do with the monfiles?

PS: i'm using EImobs mon files, but have an edited mon15 from hawky which has Appr 140-143 for monsters. hope that helps =/

thanks in advance

Here is the thread where i got the idea from

says u used an invisible mob to get music. also... did u add ur own music files or did u replace an old mob's dying sound? if so, how? =/

i used a random 4-digit number for invisible mob but it came up with a flashing yeti >.<
what i've done is have the mob spawn with 0hp which will make it die straight away, and also have replaced uncommonly used mobs sounds.

Would be cool if someone could make a hex that allows music to be played outside the title/character screens...

making a hex could not accomplish this... it would need the mir source codes or an external appr to do it
