Making my own sever!

i played Mir for a while now and im ok on the p.c. but not a genius i anit gonna lie!
i was thinking for a while to have a lil fun and make my own sever i got the site from searching forums http://www.fernys.co.uk/ where im downloading the untouched files.

is there any advice u can give a complete noob!
i was thinking if i made a good go at making this sever and make this sever good enough to play and enjoy for all 2 play.

wht big tips could u give when making yah own sever

in my opinion if ur new to it think about what files u want to use.

1.4 or 1.9

also just browse the forum sounds daft but people have alot of posts abotu types of servers they like. just remember u cant make every one happy thats like impossible.

grab ur server mir server editor if your using 1.4 (not sure if works for 1.9), helps with the DBs i think for a begginner.

and for the other stuff just have a look through 1.4 or 1.9 help section there loads of guides to help you make a server once youve done the basics and learnt npc scripts etc everythin else should be easy.
