Making your own offline server

Hi,

For a while now I have tried to have mir2 offline on my PC,

I have tried all the emulators and files on lomcn, I have used all the guides, installed all the sql servers on my computer (and I have no idea how this works), I have edited all the leudo files and even installed the dbcommander.
The guides are nice on lomcn but they ALL presume prior knowledge of databases etc. I have tried to learn, But I am just too confused with all this editing and things,


Can anyone lay this all down In a VERY basic fashion for me please? I know you guys hate these help posts, but please believe me when I've looked at nearly every single one of your threads.

Can anyone please help me with this?

Just to clarify I'm not looking to set up a server, Just an emulation on my PC - I have gotten a little further now, I have opened the BDE And made a database called HeroDB there and linked it to the "C:/Mirserver/mir200/db"

I have the files with one map from your download section, this has the Leudo files all set up and ready, The problem I have is that the ServerDB always says "Disconnected" and has a "/" always turning - my M2 Server is telling me

This confuses me - so in essence I can not get this booting, any help please??
