Could someone go on Malwarebytes and get me the download link please, got a virus which won't let me visit certain websites.

Actually not had a virus for a while, don't really use the computer much these days anymore but i wanted to watch the footy and had to stream it and thats were i got it from. Porn could also be another reason though.

Anyway Malwarebytes wont start because it needs to update which the virus won't let it, it won't let any of my programs which check for updates when it launches. IE is being shut down as soon as i open it. -.-

MSE is ****, always fails.

i assume you've tried installing from safe mode? I think i know the virus you have, i've had it too and it was very annoying.

Is it making a lot of your folders invisible?

Nope folders are fine, it's just blocking certain connections like microsoft etc..

Safe mode isn't a option for me, for some reason the computer just restarts when i try.

oh probably not the one i had ages ago then. Mine hid all the folders, stopped you from doing ctrl+alt+del or restoring, and blocked your internet connection. was a pain.

windows disc to restore system files that it might have changed?
have you checked your etc/host file to ensure its not edited that and blocked out some websites?

Yeah checked host file and seems fine. Will do a system file check after spyware doctor finished.

**** just got real when warcraft won't start.

Edit: System restore fixed the problem.
