yh i done tht bit now but its the other parts im stuck on
messed about and now it says this but when i run the exe it says connection closed

the exe with the green diamond circle says connection closed and jaspers hell 2.3 exp loads up but doesent let me create an account and when i try login it just freeze's

can some1 send me the inis n exe i should be useing with td's files please. i been useing mir revenges cos i thought tht would work and yeh all the inis are set to 127.0.0.1

all server names = ktest but some have Title=diamond should this be ktest or left as diamond
EDIT:Update i can now make an account and log in i had some outdated gate exe's but when i go to make a char it doesent work
soon as i log in this comes up dont no if its an error or not

so your using the latest files ? with the latest database ?
as it looks like your running the latest gates with an older not updated database.
i suggest you start from scratch and use the fully updated version that elvin and jasper have put the time into fully updating so you wont get issues like this:

download the files from there restore the database that says "restore this" or something sim, change the ips etc if you need to, make sure the sql login and pass are correct in the server files ie dbserver and m2server setup files
and they should work without a single issue, ive had them running and ive also logged on a few people's machines and got there's working so i know there is nothing wrong with them

yh i think i might aswell otherwise im just going to have constant errors ty for help koni just check back ob this thread tonight and ill post how i done

What version of windows are you running???
On My XP Pro SP3 Machine I get errors when restoring DB w/ SQL 2000 ..

I forgot to mention you will need to install IIS in windows optional components for SQL 2005 Mate ...
Start the SQL services in SQL Config tools
But Open and created/restore the server DB in SQL *Server Management Studio*
You will have to fish around the Installer to get Management Studio , as a few torrents of SQL 2005 have install errors that dont provide all the tools unless you check the specifics ...
