k i know what this file and folder and used for it mostly use for quest but don't understand how it set out in the mapquest file what row dose what here id what my mapquet folder look like

i think the last bit of the row is to tell what file to look at in the mapquest_def folder but i don't understand the rest

i think it is set up like this

;(map) (**) (**) (what mob to kill) (**) (what file to look at)
D1215 [1028] 1 SkullKing * wizguildtas

th one with(**) over them mean i don't know. dose anyone know what it means??

the number after the mapname means the flag that must be set to activate that map quest for a certain char..the number infront of the mob means how much mobs u have to kill before the mapquest is completed

k i been playing around with this and what i want it to do is when some one kills a hen it give u a candle but so far no luck can anyone help me out plz if i do kill a hen and it give me a candle then i can start to work on some quest for my server

yay got it working now kill a hen and got a message and a candle lol time to start making a better quest

its basically the same as mir2 eg

Mapname, Flag, amount of mobs needed to kill, name of mob, item given on kill, wot npc txt to relate to in mapquest_def also remember that the in your mapinfo.txt you will need to tell it that its a quest map eg

[0 Bichon-Province 0] CHECKQUEST(relatedtxtfilehere)

unfortunatly it seems that you may only have one txt file per map, which sux big hairy balls but you could just set up 100's of checks and it would work as more than one file...

i got it to work with out puting checkquest int he mapinfo file

k i only made one so far but people like it on my server i'll tell u what to do when i get home. the quest is there a npc in bw sz that called EasyGold he tell u to kill a OW that all then go look for a OW and when u kill it u get 200K and a message saying nise work here 200K it not much but it my first quest i made lol
