Maps wont go dark???

On my own server none of the maps i
want go dark, even the euro mir 1's
dont go dark and b4 ppl say yes i
have put dark next to it. so plz help!!

The new server files released by Deathwish and Mordeth show all maps in daylight. This is the exe that has the rev built in.

If you wanna have dark maps then use anoher exe but remeber that revelation doesn't work.

Revelation has nothing to do with the light 0_0 just get a standard exe and hex it so you can always see rev that way you can have dark maps

Is there a HEX to send all maps back to proper light? surely if its been hexed to always be day then surely you can set it back again no?

Im not to sure but maby the hex just allows the maps to go dark instead of tunring all the maps dark. So the bright maps stay bright

See, the internal maps, like caves are set as DARK in the mapinfo, but maps such as provinces are controled DAY/NIGHT by the server it would seem, unless you specify DARK in the mapinfo! I think its a bit naff having daytime all the time outside, especially as the DAY/NIGHT indicator still ticks over on the right hand side of the interface!

Any help guys? Hax to turn it back to auto DAY/NIGHT!!!!

I have the same problem. I would also like the Day/Night back.

Having it day ALL the time in EVERY map, makes Candls and Torches redundant.

Also, although I can see the benefit of FullTime Rev - also makes Tao's Revelation skill pointless. On the servers I've played, they just make a REV skill for all classes.

2 Things:

1, I've looked for files, but can't only find hexed ones. I have downloaded from 4 places, although each were where a little different - all had Rev and Permanent Day, so I thought it was a command problem, not an EXE issue until I read this.

2. If I got an un-modified version of m2server, I'd be totally smegged - Even if someone pointed a rather large gun to my head, I still would NO IDEA how to hex. I can follow guides left my other people - ie, Search for this and change it to read. As for hexing myself, I'm a total retard.

So either way, my last post stands. I need a EXE that allows Day/Night etc, cos I can't seem to find one. Or a Guide on what to change in the one I got.

Sorry, if that's a little blunt. And sounds like I just trying to leach other people hard work, but I can't do it myself, that's why I ask for help.

Just smegging noticed, I'm in the legacy section - I saw the Maps won't go dark bit and jumped. I need help with 1.9 files.

The 1.9 client has all light BUILT IN and it cant be turned off

use the Ledu client and the all light cheat can but turned off if you use the new gamegate and block the cheats

I thought you all knew that light has nothing to do with the M2 its all client based but guess none of you knew that

I didnt know that!

If thats the case, can something be done to the client exe to sort out this problem, or was that was i was being told to do? Download a new client ex and hex it for rev and stuff?

Forgive me if i sound like a total spaz, i can put together a mir server with my eyes closed, but hexing, programming i aint too literate and need to be force fed the info!!
