So you have a Map Edit/Maker for the Mir3 Files? that was my question in the first place...
Yup I know...we was going tot eam up and do it, then you just disappeared with no trace, that is what I was getting at.
I decided i needed a break after everything that had happened, but now im back and working damn hard on this new server.
Well then good luck with it, pm me on here if you need any assistance and ill give you my new msn.
Im currently offline at the moment having my line upgraded, will be back on forums in the next 48 hours or so.
Well im back on line, unfortunatly not on the 1 ive asked for. The line will be upgraded on the 26th to the 10mg line.
Also ive been looking at a couple of dual core mobos, most possibly amd 64 but ive been looking at a couple of 6.8ghz pents as well.

First bit of news for today, been having the old mir2 map editor tweaked to get it to work with the 3G maps and so far its working. But there are a few minor problems with it, IE not being able to save the files in 3G format.
Im also about 50% done with the files as well.
Drop files are 100% done and completely re-writen.
New mobs and Items are about 70% done.
New npc and ingame quests still to be done.
More news will come as and when i feel like posting it, have fun peeps.

New mobs and items are done and will be added as and when.
About 10% through the new NPC's and quests, these will take a bit of time though.
And as for the map editor, it is now saving them in 3G format. But unfortunatly they cant be read by the server, so this has set me back a bit with the new maps and hunting grounds.

wow m8 take it easy, are u doing this all by your self?
cause if you are, than you'd be the first person i've seen in the past years who's brave enough to take on such an challenge;p
i wish you goodluck with your server, and im hoping to see it online soon, it sounds really good, cant say that for the most servers up ATM ^^

All most everything is being done by me.

Been very ill the last couple of weeks, so not really done much on the server. Currently looking at hardware and what will work best for the server. Will keep upto date as and when i can give information.
Map editor not working, so gonna ave to think of another way of creating new maps. Cause i aint paying them damn chinnese for theres.

Zion - I take it you are modifying the delphi code? - I have been recently given source for a vb6 map reader for 3G. i was in the process of converting it to Delphi.
Give me the source of your tweaked version - I'll have a look at it for you. (Shouldn't be too hard to get it working)
