pissin me off now, ive been lookin thru loads of diff memory things, i was goin for 512mb one (since i hav **** RAM) but thers so many diff types i duno how im supose to no which one goes in my comp? my dad gave me loads of diff comps n all the memorys made my computer have errors n stuff (they wer a lot older than mine) can any one help n tell me how i can find out which one works.

depending on your motherboard, if it's old, and if you have **** ram i'm guessing it is old, get SDRAM, stay away from DDR because even though it's better, it won't work

ive tryed DDR is fuked up my comp, wouldent let it start up

£70 for what size? 512mb?? because i am upgraidning my ram soon. And it costs £24 for 256MB SDRAM & £46 for 512 MB SDRAM. Pretty expensive for bit of RAM tbh

That's expensive, you can get a gig of DDR over here for $15 USD cheaper than 512 of sdram over there.
