It's really not hard to just pick 10 people, give them login details, let em loose.... Then chill out over the weekend while they test...

The say they are having off 2days, xmas day and boxing day then choose more players after boxing day, meaning there 2 days off, they should stop promising things that isn't going to happen and keep to what they said, why say 2days should of said a week etc?

They did on facebook though, anyway not a problem for me, still got tonight + tommoro to know who's got in.
Fair enough, I don't look on facebook. Still people should realize up until new year a lot of people spend time with family, so things can change to plans made.

Due to the success of the first wave of beta testers, we are going to randomly select another 5 people from our list on Facebook and another 5 members from the LOMCN community to take part in the second wave of beta testing.
The second wave of beta testing is to go over the content that we have already fixed as part of the first wave to ensure that it is indeed fixed.

come on when we gna get this announcement of the next 10? sooner you get them on sooner they can test, sooner you can release and stop all us moaning, if other gms can update/do events/reply to there players etc on there servers over xmas then why carnt you lot theres more of you ;P

Get a grip, its people like you who get server teams to rush things and then when something goes wrong due to being rushed, are the first to complain.
They will announce when they are ready not when you dictate that they should lol.

last late night I was watching stream and seen a group of big bosses spawned in town which I take it was done by a gm unless beta testers have access to spawning mobs. My trust in those that run the server has reached new low, what with the way the beta testing was arranged in the first place and all that.
If you actually watched the steam, the 2 GMs were also there pvping with the beta testers and the mobs were the GMS pets for a bit of fun, none of the testers got any loot.
They're not the kind who will do anything like that during live, but during beta sometimes there's abit of extra fun needed.

Actually if you watched the Stream back you would find pretty much all of these supposed "bosses" were pets and the only non pet they did actually spawn who was a boss was BigCentipede, which the GM's killed themselves to test the changes that were made to it, no bosses have simply been spawned for players in the beta to kill period.

OK thanks for clearing that up, yes they would have been 'pets' because otherwise you all would have been floored but I'd have thought pets even worse alternative. I mostly play solo and don't get to bigger bosses at all, so I am not sure what they were but I' guess those were top bosses just below mirking, those huge furry monsters totting huge swords LOL... I don't know those could be pets except on a crazy over the top high rate server

I didn't watch long, was late and I was closing the browser before shutting down PC.
We know its gonna be wiped so from that point of view it wouldn't 'technically' matter if whatever dropped. But it doesn't bode well for how server might be run when it goes live. I remember being in usa mir open beta where pple were totting mir armors etc which showed the mindset of those who ran the server and we all know how that ended.
