In the night club I work in we have 20 X 20" JBL subs, 10 32" Vibe subs, the sound is wicked.

JBL is good for sound quality, but for that extra special sound (and a bit more cash) vibe is the way to go.

Fli is basically a company bought out by Vibe, and they make quality subs and amps for a good price.

thats what ive read anyway ;)

But Vibe and Pioneer are in the top lot of Subs.

Next one i get will be Pioneer.

Recently purchased a 12" 2000W (nominal, max is 5000W) pioneer sub for £150 and a 1600W Xplod amp for only £120 cos it had been used a little. Cant see that the sound is affected at all though which was what i was worried about.

Got a pretty sweet setup, i mounted the sub in a box and attached it to the underside of me parcel shelf, and have the amp on top of parcel shelf (cos it looks awesome) between my 10cm 300W Pioneer Emotions. Need to turn the gain down a tad on the sub as its stupidly powerful.

Here are some pics:

Sounds good mounting the amp onto top or shelf, but you see if i did that, it wouldnt last 7 days without it been nicked where i live.

Same sub as my bro, but he has a Phoenix Gold amp.

wtf... i doubt that veryy much.. what land are you from lol.

You obviously dunno how strong subs can be.

My brother has the sub turned down on his (max is something like 10, he uses 3-5 (3 with Kiss 100, 5 with his CDs)), because the air being pushed around is enormous and the sound really can deafen you.

soundwaves produced by the sub will bounce of the cones on the speakers effecting the sound they provide, think about it....

i also have gangster chromes:)

floyd is rite bout that, if you have a sub producing alot of wattage (strong soundwaves) it will if directed at mids n tweeters cause them to faze and distort as the speaker will vibrate for the sound normally but the soundwaves from the sub then revibrate it again and alot of the time the vibrations coinside causing a horrid sound effect, distortion that sounds like sum1 banging the speakers...
