Might skill prob

KK as u know, im using Holley files tranlated with DB posted by Ripman.

Bookshop npc, shows Might(44) n Defiance(48) wen asked 4 tranlations.

In order to learn Defiance, u need to get *Might book n translate it clicking Might(44), then Defiance shows up on skill tree.

In order to learn Might, i use *Defiance book, npc say: there u have a copy of r manul tho i dont get anything on my bag. N even creating Defiance manual(through GM commands) wen i double click it, nothing happens, no error but i dont have the skill : /

This also happened on RZ, any idea y is happening to me too >.<

had this prob a while bak, 99% sure both books where same lvl in the db, check that

Lvl is set OK 4 both, Might 44 n Defiance 48.

Try these m8. As your lvl's for each spell are wrong as defiance is lvl 48 might is 44, so your magic db for those spells may wel be wrong.

Does the spelling have any effect?

Lvl is set OK 4 both, Might 44 n Defiance 48.

There is no reason to use £" at the start of Books - this was fixed in 3.38 - look in the Crueldragon.ini for MagicSpell= and change that for a start.
As for Spells - its down to Translation - you have to make sure the Books have the right Spells and match the Level combined with what is in the Magic DB. I shared ages ago a database - it had the spells the wrong way around and was fixed not long after - I guess everybody is still using this and thus still causing problems..
