Minimise/close laptop and mouse calibration changes

Basically whenever i minimise mir or close my laptop/open again all of the item names/characters change font and the mouse seems to be 2 inches to the left of where it actually appears onscreen? Which means I have to restart the client, quite annoying if I ever want to use another programme or keep pets alive.

Sounds like a graphics issue pal, I'd suggest reinstalling drivers to start with.
How old is your laptop? My laptop is about 3 or 4 years old and struggles to run this mir at a steady framerate. Graphics-wise, I don't think this version is very efficient, probably to do with the new lighting system.

try changing your monitor resolution.

Try alt+enter to swap between full screen and mini screen modes, might resync your resolution.
