Mir 1.4 Server

[Version 1.3]

Not to long ago i read a post that said some people would like to see a classic 1.4 server up and running!

Now i have tried 1.9, 2.3 but i am old skool and 1.4 is all i can do

But i need a host please
anyone out there that wants the good old day back, Where getting mauled by tongs and dieing was a honourable way to go lol

1.4 has so many cheats, A lack of functions and a lack of game master commands.

I wouldnt touch it anymore.

He doesnt know how to set up anything other than 1.4 he said it in his first post, you musta miss read.

Yeah, i did try 1.9 and 2.3 but the SQL thing messes me up + im on router so i got problems hosting anyway as i aint the admin i cant forward ports i dont think =D, so thats the main reason i need a host.

I aint much good at NPC's but i can do DB and don't mind doing them, Maps aint my strong point but can also make a few..

2.3 isnt that hard to setup, read konis guide, and just post for help when u get stuck.

1.4 is pointless seriously, the only thing it had over 2.3 was that it was smooth and didnt lag... but ive been able to make my 2.3 files not lag and as smooth as euro, so 2.3 all the way, forget 1.4, it will be exploited and hacked to fk.

Coz 1.9 never use (this is very good antihaking) SQL server... who is open in Inet to access for other to use... so can be hacked ... and for 1.4 exist this cheats: mirlanders all suite versions, and this named 17126, and more.. Make a 1.4 so i can get my mirlander out and be a wizzy with x2 casting speed so that mobs can't even move with the t-bolts that fast.

@john, my post was a retoricle question. 1.4 has no advantages over a new set of files. and is just as easy to setup. if u dont like sql, use access. and the ip forwarding is no diff to 1.4, so being on a router makes no diff.

using sql or access is a hell of a lot easier to setup than that old dbcommander thing.

i setup a 2.3 SQL if u need hand give me shout as i did build one.

i can do anything on the servers But the npcs only thing i cart do so fare.
