Mir 2.3 LastStand

LastStand mir 2.3 is a new server braught by 3 close friends.

It's nothing special it's Crusade re modifed and re worked all around (2.3) Thanks you to aaron salty for realease.

We've made the server so you can't orb wepaons to dc+300 and **** like that, Balanced pvp a lot more, Exp Downed a tiny bit so you can't level stupid and get stupidly high in one night.

Made exp token rare but higher'd spawns a lot in the cave.

Exp X40-50

Rebirth will be level 100+ And worth doing will include Buffs, Exp Bonus, Rebirth Spell, Rebirth cave, Rebirthed pets.

Over 40 different Caves to hunt with some challangeing bosses

This server intend to stay up long, event's will be held regularly but not stupidly over top so everybody gets rare items.

Donations - Will not be taking Donations until we feel the server is in a stable way, by that i mean every1 being happy with the way things are run and we have a decent user count.

Server Specs -
2.6ghz 2gb ram 300gb hd all free
10mb's line
and its in a thermatank with 10 fans

Hmm seems to be a problem with the server, its having trouble using Sql 2005, DB Keeps timing out.
Any ideas how to fix this? i cant go back to Sql 2000 as the dedi is not compatible to use it :S

I think its SQL 2005 causing the issues.

Was happening to me on my test server, rolled it back to 2000 and worked fine.

yeah already told him it's probably because of SQL 2005 but they can't install 2000 on the dedi for some reason ><

Cant install 2000 because its Windows Server 2008... Same as you can't use 2000 on Vista.

have you tried speaking to the Dedi company about rolling you to Windows Server 2003?

Whats the issue, why is SQL 2005 causing, you would be best resolving that rather than rolling back to older insecure versions.
