Hi,

We need some help fixing a couple of things on the crystal client and potentially some minor changes to the UI, if anyone can help or point us in the right direction of someone it would be greatly appreciated.

If you could drop me a message we would like to discuss over discord what we are looking to change so we can get an idea of how feasible they are and how hard they would be to implement.

Maybe if you treat this place as a forum and not facebook marketplace, you might get more people willing to help you on what you want to change.

Apologies if I'm not using the forums correctly, I have been searching the forums and a few of our issues have already been asked about without a real solution so I figured rather than posting again about the same unresolved topic this would be my best bet of getting help.

stuff like the below:
It will have always been like this. Its because when you highlight you're just drawing an opaque body and hair image over the solid versions. But because the bald head is almost white in colour it makes it look like the hair is going behind the player.

I don't think theres an easy fix for it. But if i'm missing something obvious let me know.

The issue above went unsolved because its just a problem with the c# drawing in general. Not something that can be solved by throwing someone abit of money over discord, otherwise we'd have fixed it long ago.

If the other questions went unanswered last time try asking them again, maybe someone new has an idea how to fix it. Then everyone can benefit from the provided solutions.

As stated in my original post, I wanted to discuss with someone "how feasible they are and how hard they would be to implement." I don't know how to code so I don't know how big of a task it would be, could be a 10 minute fix for all I know... The whole reason I wanted to discuss over discord rather than write a long post is because I would like to screenshare so I can actually show and explain what we are after with the UI such as removing the cash shop, removing fishing, removing pets, removing mounts.

And yes, when I got no traction on the post I have expressed I would be willing to pay for assistance.

Clearly I have went about it in the wrong way, my bad.

You dont really need to know how to code to remove cashshop/fishing/pets/mounts.

Just don't use them, and remove the options from UI/make the button/hot key not do anything.

They should be simple things to do.

You can empty the cash shop using the gameshop form on the server and for fishing/pets/mounts, just remove those items from the item database.

Thanks for the replies, we have been working through it and managed to change some bits now such as:
  1. Amulets / Poisons changing icon as you use them (bag getting smaller) now back to just a static icon.
  2. Item database has been wiped and rebuilt without items we don't want.
  3. UI we have got our heads around, and started removing and change bits - now we have our head round it we might just rebuild this.
  4. Problems with importing / exporting maps getting weird after index 134 (Jevs DB) now fixed by building our own.
The only problem we seem to be having which we can't work out why is randomly all our mini maps keep changing back to 101? we think it might have something to do with when we use the search function in the map database?

In terms of the highlight target, We have come to terms with the fact we will most likely have to live with this.

do not export the mapinfo it will cause ur minimap all be 101
