Mir 2 : Conquest (Heroes)

Start level: 7
LevelCap: 30 but the level cap will be increased as the server progresses with events, will be explained in more detail below (Conquest Events) . Some Spell levels have been tweaked TDB, Mass healing e.g.

Rates: Med, shouldnt take longer then 1 or 2 days to get 30 depending on how much u play.

Beta: Aiming to start the beta between within the next week we do have a day inmind but im not going to announce just yet, being hosted on a Dedi.

When the server goes into beta the only map that will be available to players will be PI with the map there and the caves being the main source of leveling but the caves have been changed to better suit the early game.

Conquest Events:

After a week or so when every one is kitted up and stuff is ironed out we will be doing a Event to win back Bichon which will entail invaiding bichon fighting through hordes of monsters and killing a certain boss, the Event is ment to be more of a compitition though so we are making it so the first guild to complete the invasion will own bichon for the foreseeable future (The owning guild will recieve Perks),Pking will be allowed in the event, once a guild own bichon all Npc's and abilitys to teleport to Bichon will be reactivated allowing access to Bichon Hunting zones for all players but bichon will still be cut off from Mongchon e.g. the level cap will be raised, the process will be repeated to unlock more continents and the winning guilds will own the continents.

We are basically trying to do a chain of events to keep people entertained and testing the content we want them to test throughout the beta.

Guilds:
we want lots of guilds, guild wars and competing so we are setting a guild member cap at 10 for the time being we will increase the size depending on server pop and other factors.

Features:
No PA/Slow, You want a Tao on your side.
Heroes availble once level 30 is reached ( your hero will start at lvl 30 also)
DualSkills
GemUpgradeSystem
Dueling System: put your money where your mouth is and bet items or gold on being able to beat a player in a 1on1 duel.

Items:
all items are custom and their are various parts of kit for levels between 10-16, 20-26 and then a rare set for level 30. kit for after 30 wont be available ingame till level cap is raised but stuff gets more Stronk and rarer you know how it goes.

All feedback will be very much appriciated.

We need some feedback on this please guys. Were going to be buying a dedi tonight, for a tomorrow or Tuesday launch. Dont wanna waste Time + Money if people think its a bad idea.

WhoMeYou, from what i've read i think its kinda a good idea, but the question is since cap is level 30, what about the high level spells ? do i have to wait untill you release higher end content to have them? if so i think its a bad idea

yep u will have to wait for higher end content. though the content for a majority of the spells will be coming with the bichon event which will be soon after release. but spells like Crash/flamecurse e.g. will come in with later content.
Spells like FF e.g. and spells that come with the bichon event will be dropping prior to the event though so you can obtain/trade them b4 the level cap is raised so you are ready.

As for the dueling system, mir 2 players are pussy's they never 1v1 so i doubt it will get used

hmm all sounds ok, except the part where you have to wait for the bichon event :P. Well im more with servers like weown (the one i enjoyed most), Torozor, OldSkoolServer (when it first came out it was epic, now its verry borring if you ask me )

What happend to the old mir, go leveling caves kill a boss so you wont get borred because you cant kill higher level boss, go hunting cave hunt for items and stuff.Im with the old style mir. get as much leveling as you can with no level cap, this isnt wow or any other good game where you have a level cap.
For once in most of the games you buy your skills depending of level and you dont need to hunt for them, this is mir so you will have to hunt for books.
And the whole invasion is kinda borring if you ask me, just have main wall where you fight once a day and 1-2 other wall's that you can attack once 3hrs or something.

There are loads of items and cool armors/wep. Just make standard kit (crappy looking items/wep/armor) and Rarer Kit ( epic looking items/wep/armor where you optain them for hunting caves not leveling caves, or even leveling caves but are rarer tham hunting ones)
Item upgrade, hunt for example for (E)Catalyst, you go with your item and (E)Catalyst and you get Eliteitemname that has for example dc 1-3 more than normal item, this worked verry nice on a mir3 server named VitalElementz.
Have a cave where you kill a mob and 2 more spawn, then if you kill 1 of the 2 that spawned 4 more spawn and last kill one of the 4 ones that spawned 6 more will spawn each giving better exp than the other.(Taral, Xtreme mir3 server)
Have a cave where you need to kill a hard guard and get to a hard cave where you need to kill your way to KR and each door to have a boss and can only go past if you kill the boss.

I dont really find your idea of level cap verry nice, i mean yes it will get you some players because its a hero based server but im sure that a different server will bring you more (without the level cap).

Reason why i think the level cap is a good idea is, WE control how far people can go if you know what i mean, Don't think its going to be like this :
Server live : BW Event, then another 1 like a month later.
We are going to be doing them pretty much back to back, So Server Live : (3days later BW Event) / 5 days after that MW Event.
This way were constantly adding new additions to the server, and its not just about who can level the highest, and who can solo what bosses.
Were trying to take out this Solo hunting aspect of mir, and making sure you need a group to even make it to the KR of caves, let alone kill the boss.
Were 100% Going with the level cap idea, Please don't make this put you off and please still come and give it ago.
If after a few weeks and we can see the level cap is not working, its just a case of a 5minute job to remove it.

For me mirs about pk and guild rivalry, and were trying to bring that in as much as we can, hence Guild Vs Guild Vs Mobs to take control of bichon, rather than just Guild Vs Guild, and who ever has the fastest players will win.

i will give it a go, but tbh i dunno any1 in mir lol, and if your going to have a 10 cap guild im sure it will be hard to find a guild, specially when you dunno any1

just bought the Dedi so waiting for that to be set up then we are more or less good to go.
