Parents introduced me to the game. Would be contradicting to spank your kid for playing a game they introduced you to.

Also, the game was probably rated 18+ since it had a p2p system which at the time would require you to be an adult.

Either way I remember my dad walking around telling me the forest was dangerous cause it has "Forest yeti" and they're too strong,running Mir on a 2mb/s adsl and having 2 step lag all day long but you didn't care cause those graphics were soo good at the time.

And the question about wages was to get an idea of the cost of your CURRENT lifestyle.
Like if you need £2000 to pay the mortgage and the car finance and bills, then your gunna need 24k a year, for example.

I always got the impression that the average mir player was better off than the average guy.
You know the concept of farming and grinding for achievements that nobody really cares about, that's a lot like Life, lol...

I remember shitting myself the first time I saw a Scarecrow when i wondered out of border village for the first time all those years ago. The amount of time I spent levelling in Woomyon Woods back then

Also, hands up who remembers Splash Plastic?! The way I and probably most other non-credit card holding players (children) got access to the game.
