@stagg : i had a few errors. where did you install your chronicles patcher?

i found that if i patched direct to C drive im fine, but if its within the Program Files i got errors...

Maybe try re-dl in C and try again. failing that im stumped because im a numpty with windows.

its on c drive and i re downloaded last night.its fine on laptop but not pc >< but laptop to laggy to play

for everyone with problems:

solution1:
download and install http://www.microsoft.com/it-it/download/details.aspx?id=35

solution2:
just run the mir.exe instead of clicking on play on the patcher..

what windows version do you have?

do win+r -> type dxdiag and hit enter and past the screen/display tab on here..

this issue is related to vga driver or directx issues.. just need to understand what is causing it


edit;

just give up.. it is posting about DirectX :4.09.00.0904 which is like a 9.0 or 9.0c version dating back to 2004..

maybe unpacking the installer you can get the files needed but i think it would be easier for the team to update the requirements to 10 or higher..

yea i did run it and sed was up2date aswell ve deleted it all and reinstalling now

re installed game all drivers up 2 date pc plays mir 3 and have played wow fine really dont know

Do you even have a GFX Card installed?

I suggest you 3 do system wide driver updates.

Presuming you haven't custom built your systems, go to the manufacturers website and download install every driver you can find.

Caribbean, go to the nVidia site for your GFX Card update

i deleted the copy i had on my HD then copyed the copy i had on my external and works a treat all sorted
