First time I've had it tho since I started the server when it first opened.

I've had the same come up on my computer today and now i cannot connect to server even after patching - how did you fix (i have added the file paths to the exclusions on Norton)?

So that it can save the space for itself to fill your computer with more Norton bloatware.
But yeah it's a false positive that shows up on most antivirus, even the default windows defender flags it I think.
having same problem - win7 pc managed to exclude in Norton and it now works, win8 pc unable to use saying cannot connect to server . any ideas?
Just a friendly tip, get rid of Norton immediately and install any free (e.g AVG Free) anti virus software instead.
Norton is a horrible antivirus that hogs the CPU for itself and can actually slow down your computer considerably.
Then you'd do what you always do for any latest Mir.exe is add the entire Chronicles folder to the exceptions files, and re-run the autopatcher.
Should then download the mir.exe file without deleting it.
