Everyone has and is entitled to their own thoughts of what should/shouldn't be in Mir Server etc; but until you've tried it with people, you won't know how well it'll go down, and more often then not, you need to please the majority (as UC is a massive factor for server longevity in the start)
However as a server owner, you need to be conscious of your choices to not alienate certain player types.
You want to have motives in your game for players to want to stay logged in and farm, Mir has always had the competitiveness, and arguably one of the things that makes it so addictive.
I want people to want to log in, and play for as long as possible, to do that, you need to have 'rewards' for the people who put the time in, but without making it detrimental to the casual players.
