Mir on Windows 7

So i tried this new operating system claled 'Windows 7' apparently its the future...

But when im running the mir holley client, if i try to enter text on any other program it crashes them.
Example: If im running Mir client and i write in notepad, notepad crashes.
If im running mir client and i type into firefox, firefox crashes etc.

This owuld normally be fine but because im scripting whilst using the client its very awkward!

But yeah anyone had this and know a fix or anything?

Try running it in compatibility mode, failing that a VPC.

nope compatibility mode doesnt work, and how much of a fiss is PC going to be?
Basically im connected to the server though RDP so having a client on a seperat ething as wlel is gonna be a pain in the ass

Geo, i know this is abit late but fort ide give you little advice.
1. mir3 sucks on win7 :P
2. use notepad++,, you can use it whilst mir3 is open and is also alot better for scripting.

Also Internet Explorer works with mir3 up,, if i find anymore things that work along with mir3, ill post on here for you Geo.

U have 64 or 32bit win7?

Some ppl said, that i have to run programs as administrator - i have 64bit and this dont work too:P

well, i run mir3 in 16bit (windowmode) all the time anyways, but i think im on 32Bit. which i need to find my win7 disc cos ive got 8gb ram in this pc and only can use 4 ;/..

my computer is allways on 16bit.

wbrian meant meant the system bit (32bit old 64 bit new) and not colours

after client opened open firefox etc. new as administrator works fine for me (win7 64 bit)
if not have same prob

On what client did u tried?
Cos i think it maybe some launcher+holley dll issue - tried with dll from 3.56, and this one wont let me open any diff app than mir lol.

And run as admin wont work for me

/ Maybe u can upload your launcher + holley dll somewhere?

on all server i played (different clients) it worked, using google chrome.
just uploaded launcher and holley.dll from a server where it works (bluemoon)

Well it doesnt work for me;/
Im running mir loader as usual. Then google chrome with these settings:

It looks like disabled cos i set to run as admin on all accounts. Should work. Maybe im doing something wrong? Or it cant be done in Ultimate ver?

i just run chrome with righklick and run as administrator. do u have this function ?

couse in my Window u posted there is a sign (admin button)
on button "zmien ustawienda dla......"

run with "compatible" mode never worked for any program or any windows .,...

But with option im properties u dont have to use rclick menu all time

I think i need to find Win 7 Pro x64 and try to run it on VMWare to test if it would work. Maybe its just my system:S
