mir server editor is not working

my mir server editor is not working i try and load it up and it says

run-time error '429'

ActiveX componet carnt create object​

what should i do

You should check if you have the VB6 Runtime Files. Do a google search for them and see if that fixes the problem.

Happens alot, but im pretty sure the runtime files are incuded with it :O Might be somethng else

I have been getting problems with the mir server editor aswell. Whenever i try to save a database that i have edited i get a

"[ODBC Paradox Driver] Operation must be an updatable query]"

Lol, i mean i could just use DB commander but mir server editor makes it so easy. So any help would be appreciated.

Have you read and followed the readme, I got both these problems when i never made the keys in DB commander unique. Im pretty sure that will fix your problem.

Go to: File > Prefrences. The rest is quite self explantory. You just make sure thats set up. also make sure herodb is set up propally otherwise that can cause errors.

Its a touchy program and will sometimes crash if you put the wrong number in the appr calculator.
