i have norton 360 2.0,

when i try to put the mir2.exe into the mir folder norton processes it as a threat(trojon) and deletes it immediatly.

i tried different things like disabling norton autoprotect puttingthe mir2.exe into the folder and allowing it to be an exception but the second i turn norton back on its deleted again,

any ideas please and thank you.

p.s. sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

[Edit] sorted ill explain how i did it also so people can do it them selves who use norton

1, disable [Autoprotect] right click and disable

2, go to the [Pc Security] Tab and then [View Details]

3, then go to [Virus and Spyware Scan] click on [more info..]

4, then click on [view files removed by Virus and Spyware Scan]

5, click on the the [File Exclusions] Tab

5, from here you need to click the [New] button and find the path right to the mir2.exe and tell norton to exclude this from scans and auto protect scans.

6, close everything back to your main screen and [right click] on norton and [Enable Auto Protect]

7, your done play mir without any problems

All NAV type are the same , from 2000-2009 , if u have older no problems the engine are the same, only the virus definitions are changes.... so all older engines of NAV are update to the last version, so no problems with this, NAV work just fine. If u find more troians and ****s use and ZoneAlarm and u see u will have more... ZoneAlarm are veeeery usefull to remove all the virus,troians,....more...
