i aint commentin any more coz il only get banned ... ithink i got banned unfairly any ways ... let the cheats rule the server ....and all the players who exploit ... i helped with ppls clients spent all day uploadin client for ppl to actually play the server ... i made a comment ok it might have been uncalled for or put wrongly ...like i said I WONT BE HELPIN NO ONE OUT IN THE FUTURE

Did you try contacting him directly and apologising for what you said, before going off on one? You'll find most people (not all, granted, but most) are willing to forgive and forget minor things like what you did, if you just apologise and then discuss your issue (in this case, you believe the guy's power hungry), it often gets resolved.

Ben, really, couldn't you of just left it? There's no need to put a thread down any further when you have no involvement in it, it's obvious the server is getting a lot of bad press on this thread, I don't think your help is required to put people off playing.

Though I must admit, a full ingame AND forum ban seems harsh, maybe he's trying to make an example of you? It's something most server owners do, make the first person's punishment extra harsh, so others feel deterred from following in their footsteps.

Looking back at your original post, you certainly shot yourself in the foot - When you get banned on the forums, taking that further ingame is just asking to get you banned (I assume there's been no mention of whether it's a temp ban or not?), the right choice would of been to of discussed it ingame and explain what you meant, rather than calling people a "power hungry aussie bich", lol. ><

Basically yeah, lost your rag and got punished for it - Happens to most people, just learn and move on.

Once the forum ban is up, I suggest you pm whoever it was that banned you and explain the situation, they'll most likely remove your game ban (if it wasn't already).

Not a bad server but the staff/mods/gm's do seem a bit clueless when it comes to certain issue's.
A better dev team is something they need urgently imo.

Experience only comes with time, give them feedback and politely (and quietly) point out where they've made a mistaken, everyone makes mistakes, so unless they have heads the size of houses, they'll take those things on board and improve.

Tallos, read their forums.. people point out problems..politely, but they refuse to take it on board.
A perfect example would be.. people trying to report cheats, they won't even acknowledge cheats work on the 2.3 files, I know for a fact speedcheats work on that server. When players try report such cheats.. they get mocked/spoken too imaturely (look on their forums & see).

Like I say, they need better devs who are more familar with the 2.3 files they are using.

The speedcheat I know 100% works was posted on oldskool forums months ago (before it closed).. os devs will know im talking sense as will the many that d/loaded it & used it.

Sounds like they need a slap from the reality stick, if you really want to test them (we did this on MirRev Extreme server with a past runner, lol), make a new account, make a new character, install the speed cheat, tell them what you've done and get them to tele to you and show them (or take a screenshot of the program running and email it to them).

If they ban you or deny that you're cheating, post the proof here and everyone can see what they're like... Unless they're insanely dim, they'll realise it isn't bull**** and try to do something about it. Ignorance might be bliss, but it won't do any good for your server. ><

Alot of issues do get resolved and almost instantly if possible, however if you have any issues of your own that don`t get a reply, try sending a private message to a Gamesmaster and i`m certain they will reply in a professional manner, also there is no speed cheats on TD files, there is a smal bug with the "D" auto run button that makes people look like they are cheating, some people know of this some don`t, now everybody does ha ha. I have been useing 2.3 files for years and just browse my posts and you will see help others alot and is not much i do not know about them.

Your forum account has been unbanned along with your ingame account, all you had to do is PM me about the situation. Please let this be a lesson to you though, that GM`s don`t have to tolerate abuse.

The reason im not around so much is i have been unwell and also my wife has just opened a salon and i have been helping her out alot to get started, this is why i brought in 2 new GM`s how have added so much to the server and are doing a great job.

Stress of running a server can make a GM easily get hot headed and over react in a situation like this, it`s like anything in life, sometimes you get so fed up, you just go on attack mode. I definatley agree with you on the " welcome to the internet" even took myself a while to learn to ignore some idiots, one of whoms name you have mentioned above.

All part of the fun I assure you, I've been a Mod or in a similar position for quite a few years now on past servers/games, after you develope a thick skin you'll quickly find things get much easier.

It's why I said that after getting a forum ban, he should of went and explained himself ingame rather than having a go, GM's are people too and as you say it's not impossible for them to go ott and make a harsher punishment than is fair, though if the person who got punished had said "Look I really meant this... I'm sorry if I worded it poorly, but if you unban my forum account or jump on msn we can discuss it like adults", this would of got dealt with and wouldn't of required a forum post and then more drama. :x

Edit: In regards to Ben I think he has had said thick skin worn down, he gets a lot of **** due to being one of the main names on Four Heroes and thus takes it out on other people, typical case of misplaced-anger, the fact he can get away with it makes things worse. However he seems to of got better at biting his tongue lately, fingers crossed this is the turn of LOMCN.

Do you acknowledge cheats works on these 2.3 files? if you don't I will happily log on and show you some.
The speedcheat I mentioned worked on bens oldskool server(his old one), it worked on lapta's mr high rate one and it works on yours.
Crazy1 used it for ages on mr high rate, when he quit he posted it on other 2.3 server boards.

well guess wot .. i been banned of forums by a power hungry aussie bich.. and when i went in game complaining i gets ip banned off game ..i hope ur lookin at this jay ... argh i have so much power i am the super GM. or... u were rude and insulting and got a 24hour ban to wash ur mouth out with soap and come back with a renewed sense of maturity... realistically it would take more than a day for that but well...
