All i see around the forums is change this change that, nerf this buff that.... Everyone that thinks they would do better, make ur own mir server and see "how good is it" and how many ppl u get to play it ffs

Give me access to the chronicles files and I'll make a superior server that noone will play because they don't like it lol

You could actually make an amazing server, but because it's different to what people are used to, they will say it's bad :/

Only a few moaners, most have a reasonable point of view even if opinions differ.

They want our opinions and that is what the forum is for, voicing your opinions on XYZ.

It's the people who threaten to quit and make an actual whine rather than an informed post and refuse to accept all other opinions than their own who irk me.

Aye thats why your meant to have multiple private servers to keep the game alive.


How-ever, there's no files to use that would even compete with the ones Chronicles use, so everyone just flocks to this one and complains it's not to their tastes!.

Someone else said that everyones got far too used to p servers who grovel to their player base making it easy and handing everything out. Played a few where you could solo BDD at level 28.
Make a useful suggestion. Like the annoying extended quest for stated reward or give your keyboard away

The problem is the pandering to the whines, not the whines themselves. Or if a suggestion gets 5-10 people agreeing with it then it gets implemented. The slaying one for example. Most ludicrous change I've seen that hasn't been necessary on any version of Mir, but here a few people say ''yea that's a good idea'' and voila, it's done.

This would generally seem like bad advice for anyone running a game, but what with the Mir Community what it is (generally a bunch of entitled, dribbling cavemen), it's sound advice - stop listening to people. Just make it how you want it and if people don't like it, tough. You had it pretty much spot on until you started catering to every whim.
