Since the servers down I thought we would have a little discussion, not an argument or a rage shout match about all the problems with diff classes I see getting moaned about each and every day and if they actually have a reason to moan in the first place.
Also in b4 TLDR: because you would rather moan than read an entire thread telling you how the majority of you are wrong for moaning about your classes when you have no idea what other classes face since you choose to never try any other class. It’s also impossible to explain problems and flaws in a simple sentence for each and every class. Also servers down you spend 12hours a day on this game it takes less than 5 minutes to read try something more productive.
People who only actually ever play 1 character/class have no real view since they do not see the whole picture for each class sorry.
I'm a really sad individual and played Mir since beta euro.
I've played every class on ever server and have been crazy high levels on each, I am now playing archer on here to test it out since it’s the only character I have not played.
So let’s begin (also this is my opinion but like I said I have played everything except archer before and hit silly high levels on each character so I have good game play on each character, however your free to disagree).
Warriors – Great character once they are a high level but not much going for them till then (will explain at end to prevent instant rage)so until u get 32 it’s a long slow path.
Wizards – fantastic characters, if played correctly, always have been. Yet they still moan about everything for no real reason, be it health, pets, mp usage, TU, damage in fact pretty much anything.
Sorry wizards have no real reason to moan back on 56k u got a 2hour disconnect no option and no decent pets to choose from except for tongs and black maggots, yet wizards still made it to 40 no problems at all with horrible EXP horrible pets by today’s standards and less spells as well as lower mp pots regeneration and dearer price, you now have great spells cheaper mp and fantastic pets in fact crazy good pets, yet you somehow find a reason to moan about them. Most good wizards don’t even use pets they use firewall and lightning, so stop moaning about pets and everything else you have the joint 1[SUP]st[/SUP]/2[SUP]nd[/SUP] best class in game. Also the ranking boards kind of gives a guide to how easy they are to level.
Taoists – Great Class and personally my favourite, really slow to level, really slow to kill, But can kill pretty much take out everything and anything, and that was before you got 2 skelly’s to do your job for you and did decent damage as well as fantastic skills and if played correctly can solo any boss in game at a fairly reasonable level as well as pvp any other class if not stupid. I have no idea why they get pissy about everything here.
Assassins – I don’t even know how to begin or how to explain here, before hand assassins had 8 ACC on USA and other private servers as a bog standard no ACC boosting skill and even at that had absolutely no problems destroying everything and anything super fast, of course back then they had to wear more acc items which actually made acc items useful and less DC. However here with more ACC than a warrior and nearly equal DC I can’t even fathom the thought, I made one here to see if they changed something else to compensate for the high ACC but ended up getting to level 30 in less than 1 day since there Ubers and fly through mobs (rankings also speaks for itself) Yet I see a few of these moaning why is it the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] and 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] joint place classes moaning about how hard it is to level kill when they destroy every boss and mob fast, if its cause u get killed PVP its cause you lack skill nothing else, Also I am aware you have lower health but when u kill 8 times faster you really should have no need to moan since I bet a warrior goes though about 10 times more HP than you since there attack speed and killing time is slower, Also you MP usage here is a ton better than it should be to before you try all that jazz.
Archers - I can’t really comment on archers yet since I have yet to crack the level 30 barrier here with them, and I have no previous experience with them, So far all I can say is there decent and do good singular damage but with the spawn rate here they can get into a tight situation quite fast with no area attack move till 33, it’s the equivalent of a wizard running about thunder bolting everything but not having the advantage of pets or decent mp regen. So I will allow more skilled archers to comment on this, but the ranking board would also speak for itself since its probably the easiest to get in the top 100 list for.
So overall
Warriors – need a boost of some sort so they don’t become obsolete to other classes Sin’s especially.
Wizards – need to chill out and realise they have it super easy and need to learn different ways to play, If your relying on pets something is wrong all the highest wizards I know didn’t piss about with pets so much.
Taoists – I believe they got it ok....ish, nothing major missing they are slow but always have been and that’s simply due to how powerful they can be even at lower levels(like again if played correctly).
Assassins – If you moan about assassins try any other assassins on any other server that has ever existed, you got it so good here its actual madness fantastic ACC great DC and good skills reasonable health and not as much mp usage. Just, WOW.
Archers – Cannot really comment on till I truly experience them. But so far they seem reasonable.
Anyway let the flame war commence, But most people that play multiple characters/classes know I am correct and the only ones that will get butt hurt are the ones that somehow think they got it hard because there not levelling as fast as they would like to, or played a diff server where everything died in 1 hit or their pets didn’t untame or die and even if they did they would just simple buy new level 7 versions of them.
my little moan/rant/cry/butthurt/whatever you want to call it to attempt to rage me is over.
Wizards - stop moaning (before you get nerfed)
Assassins - stop moaning (before you get nerfed)
Warriors - Do as you please
Taiosts - We know you take time to level but its worth it just ride through it.
