Nothing has been said about either of these from the team although brought up multiple times?!? Simple yes or no mayb
Will chain quests be coming in? Yes/no
Will you be changing hp on Bdd mobs? Yes/no

I think shes referring to the fact that nearly all the caves have quests except for the higher level ones where people spend most of their time hunting. Also BDD used to be the place where everybody TSed but now no one does it because the mobs HP is too high & the archers absolutely cain

Not being able to TS BDD mobs is what the issue is like you can on other servers because simply their HP is far too high to be MP efficient so you'd need at least 3 Wizards rather than the standard 2, limiting areas of where a Wizard can hunt.

With the current user count there aren't that many Wizards actually playing, the argument of "Oh but Wizards are the fastest lvlers" is flawed because it requires having to rely on another Wizard and they seem to be hard to come by at the moment.

We can't really solo hunt a lot of places like other classes can (mainly due to very poor single target damage forcing us to AOE level) without very high MC so unless we have a TS partner we aren't the fastest lvlers.

There was plans to bring them back in 2.0 with the correct balancing ie quests differ class to class depending on kill speed (obviously some classes could complete the quests much easier than others on ace)

But im currently out of the loop with whats going on with the server after returning from a working vacation.

as it has been said many times. bdd mobs arent worth killing. it used to be a good place for your entire guild to go TS for nice xp bosses and fights but now its just a case of RTing through and luring off doors for 10 mins to get through. it would be better if the mobs had lower health so they would be worth killing. it used to be really fun taking ur entire guild and clearing the whole of bdd like every single mob. so either mob hp needs nerfing or TS needs making stronger. it would be much more enjoyable tsing through doors than trying to lure an entire corridor away from doors to help ur guild through. it would bring more people to bdd and there would be more fights aswell. so its just total winnery! do it!

Edit: another option would be to maybe increase the range of ts. it was like that on reunited server and it was pretty wicked. it would make the mana to kills ratio a bit more sane and also enable wizzies to ts archers more easily with the extra range.

agreed, used to enjoy the bdd and zt7f tstorm clearance hunts, but as mentioned mobs here have too much hp for that.

Glad this is being looked into, I like these on ace and that's a gd idea about diff class's have diff kill speeds would make them more challenging :)

Still no response from the team on hp of the mobs in Bdd?

I always thought BDD needed to have some form of challenge, else you could just wipe out a boss room then kill the bosses with ease, at least if they have some HP you need to be somewhat careful.

Maybe it could change when people move over to 2.0's caves I guess, but again I don't see the issue really, as Wizzies shouldn't be able to just Tstorm everything they want, there should be optimal leveling places for different classes (and it doesn't need to stay the same as other servers, as this is a different server)

On another note, can I just thank BH for keeping the community (even how ratty some are) up to date and with upcoming plans, ideas e.c.t. quick as he can :) appreciate it!

you wouldnt last long as 2 wizzies with all those archers(if you think they would then lower pot drops from mobs or something) . and it would be beneficial to have warriors to carry mp/lure and taos to heal. sins and archers for their aoe or to take out stragglers. and beneficial to guilds on the whole to go hunt and level together.

at the moment. the mobs in bdd arent getting killed. theyre just an obstacle, surely theyre there to be killed. PT3f is the only place for wizzies to level efficiently before 41/42(when they can TU archers - which imo is stupidly boring as hell)

pets are a total pain in the arse to tame, and although i do like the red frog spiders, have you been to foxes??? its so frigging broken. the attack spam from the ranged mobs is ridiculous, trap rocks are bugged. you end up using about 8 pots just trying to run into the cave because of 3 mobs outside blasting you and cursing you.
you get in and find a spider and its surrounded by 8 casters... so you try lure the spider away from them and you get stuck in a trap rock which bugs you out like mad so you have to rt. its very stressful!

not to mention the spider to fox ratio is ridiculously low. and apparently if other wizzies have tamed them then they dont respawn until theyve died.. so sometimes there are literally no pets to tame. (dunno how factual that is)

i have a wiz sin warrior and tao and i really wanna play the wiz but im 40% of level 40 and the only place ive really seen is PT 3f which is totally boring as ****.

PB has now been buffed so the other classes are hunting there but wizzies kill so slowly and their 1 damage spell you have to line yourself up with the mob you want to kill, its just bleh.

ranted a bit much there maybe. basically change bdd so its actually fun and people actually kill everything(because it would be worth doing)

as for saying you could just clear the rooms and kill the boss. well its not exactly hard to just RT about and find the boss and lure it to a safe spot to kill. so what would the problem be with getting some xp on your hunt at the same time and actually taking a few members of your guild... you can kill most of the bosses in there with 3 ppl easily.... and guess what.. melee are the best for killing them, so why not take wizzies along to clear the place and give them some actual use. and all get some exp and be happy even if the boss drops utter ****! ;):D

My wiz is 44 and I only have two viable options, PT3rd & bdd archers. If im solo (which I am most of the time) it is bdd archers. Can we at least have a trial time period were bddzumas health is reduced and see if it helps the declining number of wizzy. If it doesn't work, change it back.
