Mob help

Hey,

So i am trying to add in a new mob(s) but i am stuck - I see the idea of the mob image (mobfile - 1 + mob number - 1) its just not adding him

Is there any problems adding new .mob files? I had 25 but now i have 30 files and just wondered if there would be any problem using the mobs from these? I can open them up in viewer and see the ones i want its just adding them to the game.

IE

I copy and paste frost tiger, then i change the imagenumber to 262, (27 .mob -1 from 3 being the mob) but it just comes up as a blank.

I cant think what the problem is

what files are you using ?

1.9?
2.3 dm2 ?
2.3+ (td) files ?

if its 2.3 the wil files need to be coded into the client and server that would be why you cant see them

if its a 1.9 server (ledu) you need to allow the wil number in the mirconfig for the client

Ah right thanks, yea im on td's - so i cant just add more mon files then? i see. Can i change the code anywhere? ie is it in a txt file?

you can have the std mon's 1 - 25, and then you can add mon's 51 52 53 54 with td's files mate, and no you cant change the code only thedeath can do so

Hey sry to bring this back up, but i have just got round to it. OK, so i can have mon files with 51 52 53 53 yes? aswell as the 1-25 ones there already.

I added the mon.wil and .wix to the data folder, made sure the name was mon52 and then added a new mob, using the imgindex of 51(-1) 2(-3) gives me 512 in the imgindex right?

Still a black ingame though :(

So what am i doing wrong? should i be changing raceimg to anything?

Ok i will try, but doesnt that affect the type of mob it is?

I mean i copy a frost tiger because i would like the new mob to attack the same, and cast FC.

which worked because i could see a invisible mob casting fc

I just wanted to change the mob skin
