A screen shot would help abit more, Due to your lack of spelling.

The reason for this happening is that the SQL server is online and in use. One way of editing while the server is live is edit the db in access then in SQL delete the FLD you want to update and import the newly edited one.

The server can run ok for a short time with any field deleted in SQL, but you must be quick about importing the new stuff, then reload w/e you updated on the server. if you had updated mob info, the effects of the update will show in the next respawn.

NOTE: Make sure you delete the FLD your replacing else you could end up with a FLD with double inputs

I always receive that firehouse mode crap whenever I try and edit a TBL
without first scrolling all the way through it. If when you open it, scroll all the way to bottom, then input changes, it won't happen.

you can use all of your old dbs and mongen.txt's from every set of files that you have had over the years and add the info to the mongen table adding all the extra field info as you go along.

Ther is no Mongen available only thos that people who run servers or test servers have put together and i doubt very much they will give them to you.

you need to add them 2 tables to your db,, read the updates doc, on what fields to add also, and the attributes of each field

the fld_range i believe is the maximum distance away from the original spawn spot co ords, (not absolutely certain thats the case)

just keep it within 0-400,
as far as im aware unless you have a 999 x 999 map then use a bigger number.

As for the db errors in m2 do as jasper says .
