this is for connecting to a server. when i click the EXE it comes up with "access violation at address 00479678 in module 'mir2.exe'. Read of address 00000030"

any help at all please >< its only happening on one server atm Empire.

i can connect to FourHeros fine and Mir3 (official) fine aswell

Wrong mir2.exe, i had the same problem try downloading a different one, there is diamond etc etc and each ones a bit different.

any other ideas?? iv tryed downloading a few, and ivalso downloaded 2 more lots of server files off of here and all still do the same

Maybe your using the wrong client to connect to the server?

i had this problem - but resolved it by updating my sound driver -- give that a try

there all at the latest update, its just trying to connect to a 2.3 server that i cant seem to do, tryed 3-4 servers now and all say the same, tryed about 6 different exe's. it works fine for official mir 2 and 3 and FourHeros.
