I'm suprised that with more advances in technology they're keeping with the same engine (by the looks of it) from GTA 3.
It's a shame really, they could've made this one look really good.

Take into account that it's 4 times bigger than Vice City and the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" then I can see why they've not changed the engine much.

GTA 1 was the best. Just the whole feeling of the game, it was excellent.

hmm id expected tommy mercedi (sp?) to be the main caracter , but guess its ok as the game its set in the 90`s.

Edit:Bet it was out for months in Usa as most of the games come out there 1st.

It's not out anywhere yet. It won't be until the 18th October (US release date).

You wouldn't have said that if they kept the old GTA 2 engine into 3.
Fact is, they have to keep up with what's happening, and size is just no excuse.

I still thnik the first GTA's on the PS1 are the best, dont really care for the 3d versions.

had to say GTA:VC waas the best, loved the motorbikes in 3d, so much fun, SA should be good as well

GTA tho is a great series of games, imo and wasnt it first out for PC not PS1?
