If we all played USA Mir, then we're all very much aware of the MP/HP Boosters they had for sale in their potion shops. (Weight 1 potions with a high amount of HP/MP recovery)
I propose to the Chronicles team that you bring these into your servers, reasons being:

(All opinions are based on my own experiences)
1. It would encourage the purchase of GoldenElixirs.
I know I've been put off buying GoldenElixirs in the past because I worry my hunts aren't gonna last long enough to use them, granted it gets easier at higher levels but I still feel it would encourage more purchase of these GameGold items.
2. HardTorches would increase.
If you've got a longer hunt in decent kit, you'll want HardTorches to counter the longer hunts and have more Durability on your items.
3. It would bring out longer hunts, resulting in more items to appear into the game.
It's no secret that the more you hunt the more likely you are to get items drop.
4. It will keep people out of SZ.
Sometimes when I finish a hunt I go to repot and I end up sitting in SZ a bit because there's usually someone talking s*** to someone and tbh it's funny sometimes, but other times not so much and just causes a lot of grief.
5. PvP will be more competitive.
It will be a lot more worthwhile if you gain a 20 stack of HP/MP boosters then it would be if you get a stack of L or XL pots that you don't have the weight to carry.

That's all I can think of at the minute, I understand there are cons to the pros, but I really enjoyed the fact there was these potions in USA Mir and would like to see them bought into Chronicles.
I believe they were like 20k a stack about 1k each, I may be mistaken, but the price would obviously be up to the team if they were to implement.

Opinions?

Would make certain classes even more OP.

People having SunPotions makes them even more OP.
People having better kit makes them even more OP.
Potions available to everyone, in the shop.

Leave it
USA was set up to milk cash from the players. People bought the snake oil over and over again. Gamepot laughed all the way to the bank then closed it.
Server ppl here know and love the game. They make enough money
The pay to win crew are already doing what they do No need to encourage them any more

I never really understood the logic behind USA's boosters. Your points are mainly about the length of a hunt. Would it not be better to just increase the weight of all classes so they could carry more pots?

We all know Mir USA was all about quick money.
But that doesn't dispute the fact that the potions were a great addition, in my opinion.

You could half the duration and price of the golden elixirs?

Why are your hunts lasting less than 1 hour?

Are hunting areas too high for your ability?
You have multiple accounts. Why dont you pot run between click to kills?
Try grouping with a tao?

USA was the sad version of mir everyones stats were improved and twice as much hp and a hero
1 dont want encourage exp potion sales there were loads arguments about having them in first place AND promises that they wouldnt be here.
2 dont really want hard torches either. same reasons as no dura gems
3 thats inaccurate longer hunts dont = more items
4 nothing keeps ppl from sz if they wanna play they do
5 pvp wont be more competitive it will become more pay to win. not the same thing at all.

Decent points.
I disagree with 3.
The more stuff you kill the more likely you are to get a drop. It's statistics.
YES. You could have 2 10 minute hunts and get 2 DSS.
But you could also have 10 2 hour hunts and get nothing.
However the more you kill the more likely you are to get a drop.

This also helps people who don't buy GameGold? :|
You keep calling these people P2W but they're the ones keeping the team putting up with the constant barrage of grief from players who moan about everything.

How does it help people who are not buying them?

And the server team keep highlighting to us that they don't do it for the money, but as a hobby, if they do it for the money, fine, let us know, stick stupid stuff like this in the gameshop and watch as 3/4 of the player base leaves game.

Personally I thing Mir lasts longer and with more people when you have lower amounts of gameshop things that effect game mechanics and disadvantage other people.

What they mean is they don't do it solely for the money.
How many people here would give up their evenings/weekends for free?

LOMCN HQ with Tai, eating bagels.
I really don't think these boosts are needed ingame. There are already Puri/Imbued waters, sunpot bundles, holy mp/hp and every class has buffs... It's fine the way it is, this is a low-med rate with the aim of longevity - it's not designed to be a high rate flash in the pan server.

Game isn't about statistics its probability not the same at all
and you even said it yourself longer hunts don't get better results
its all just luck
one person gets lion roar from a maggot after killing 5
other people harvest hundreds and get zero

far as I know the ones who love the game subscribe so they can support the team
the pay to winners do irl slimy dodgy cash deals as well as buying sackloads gamegold during events

You're forgetting that the health pools on Gamepot USA were ridiculously high, the high level warriors had over 3k HP.
